Celebration of the Nikkah between Imam Ali (as) and Bibi Fatima (sa)

Maulana Asad Jafri: This session marks the auspicious event of the marriage ceremony between Imam Ali (as) and Bibi Fatima (sa). Numerous practical lessons are taken from this blessed union such as simple weddings, the importance of seeking the approval of your daughter in her marriage, and how the spouse selection process is structured in Islam.

Prophet Musa (AS)

“They said: ‘Never will we prefer you (O Pharaoh) to the clear proofs (miracles) that have come to us, and to Him Who created us! Decree then whatever you desire to decree, for you may decree only about the life of this world.” - 20:72

Maulana Asad Jafri: This series follows the life of Prophet Musa (AS) as mentioned in different chapters of the Holy Quran and Hadith Books (e.g., Bihar al-Anwar). After Prophet Musa’s (as) first encounter with the Pharaoh after 10 long years, the Pharaoh sets up a grand festival (the Day of Adornment) to humilate Prophet Musa (as) in front of the Egyptians. 29. Surah Al-Ankabut

“And Lot, when he said to his people, ‘You indeed commit an indecency none in the world has ever committed before you!”- 29:28

Shaykh Saleem Bhimji: In this session, verses 28 to 30 are examined. This session continues describing the specific atrocities commited by the community of Prophet Lut (as).

Shaykh Usama Abdulghani: This series examines the above noted hadith, which is a tradition from the time of Mi’raj (the ascension). In the 2nd session, the question - what does it mean to hate the people of this world? - is explored. Previous Session: 1 |

The Prophets and Messengers (as) of Allah SWT

Syed Abbas Ayleya: This 3-part series examines the aspects of the Usul-e-Deen. The third and final session focuses on the Prophets and Messengers (as) that were sent down by Allah SWT.
