Yes the satellite phones we have are Wayne tech and very reliable on the distance I was away from civilization. It was important but he has been informed if any emergencies popped up that my friends would be able to handle it.

So a satellite phone works as it sounds. Phone that uses satellites instead of cell towers. Used specifically in areas where there’s a dead zone. Only thing that would stop a satellite phone from receiving or making calls is being dead, not out in the open, and stormy weather.

So I did give him the chance to explain himself. He just said “well you were busy but people asked about you at the funeral” before trying to shoo me away as he walked out of the room. And u/smashplants was correct in their explanation

satellite phones are like $500 not to mention subscription fee to use it. And what does OP mean when they said it was something important in the middle of nowhere away from civilization?? did…did dick grayson and his friends just murder someone in the woods?? Also whyyy would the death be on the front page if not a socialite?
u/bigblubird replying to u/gotham101
no I’m not dick grayson and it was a training excercise please stop guessing about my family especially after my brother’s death.

without giving away too much, from what I can gather from my grandfather, he has gone on a drastic depression spiral. But my father has drilled it into me that even in the worst moment of your life you have to keep a strong head so I’m feeling a little bitter about that but not gonna call him a hypocrite over it. We’ve both suffered death of friends and kept a level head so I know he can do that. But it was a death of a family member, my brother, his second son, so as much as I hate that about the situation, I’m not gonna hold that against him.
We would like to retract a previous article we had published about the Jason Todd-Wayne Funeral. We have reason to believe that Dick Grayson didn’t skip the funeral but instead was not told about it while out of the country.
StarboyCrushMe replies to GothamGazette: Holy shit dude I clowned on him so hard for skipping his baby bros funeral god I feel bad
- PurpleTornado replies to StarboyCrushMe: maybe don’t trust the gazette for reliable news? Even the Planet wrote that Grayson wasn’t seen for two or so weeks before Jason’s death, much less his funeral. A gossip rag should not be your source of news!
Dick Grayson has started a free book store named Todd’s Pages. He is working with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to bring books to the children of Gotham and Bludhaven.
“Jason loved reading. When he first came to us, the first thing he asked was for a library card. The second was to be allowed to go to school. This is my way to honor him”
PurpleTornado replies to TheDailyPlanet: I was there the other day and Red Hood showed up and gave them a duffel bag of money. Said ‘don’t worry it’s not drug or blood money’ and then took a Jane Austen book and left??…I hope that wasn’t the decapitation bag
- TheCameraOfCrimeAlley replies to PurpleTornado: no that bag is still in police custody I checked
