Please, I’m not wearing the badge; pretty sure you can call me ‘Leon’ for the time being… Unless you want me to call you Miss Forbes all afternoon.

"Oh no, I'll stick with Leon for now."

Oh, uh… Forbes, urm, Caroline, right? Hi.

"Oh! Yes... hello Detective Hart, it is Caroline. Sorry for randomly trying to invite myself along. Coffee's my weak spot, and saying yes is a reflex when someone suggests a coffee outing."

Ah, Canal Places… Yes, this name I know.  I have not yet been, however.  

I will be pleased to see it.  And, yes, I am Penny.  It is good to meet you.

"It's nice to meet a fellow fashion-savvy person, Penny. I'm Caroline."

"The…. Anthropologie," the Russian spoke, testing the word on her lips, shaking her head slightly.  "Pity.  I do not think I know it."

"It's one of the shops in The shops at Canal Place. Have you been to that mall? It's amazing. You should check it out sometime, they have a lot of nice clothes."

How adorable.

Oh please, like you enjoyed your life before you were a vampire, from what I’ve heard you were much worse then, which I find hard to believe.

"Excuse you, my life was fine before I became a vampire. Sure, it wasn't great at times, and yes I wasn't exactly the best person, but I was starting to fix those things before I turned."

"Which is so not even the point, Rebekah. You talk as if becoming a vampire is some grand honor bestowed upon us and imply I don't deserve it because I still care about trivial things.--- It's not an honor. You had this life forced upon you too. Don't judge me for the way I choose to spend this small part of my eternity."

"Don’t worry about it, really, Caroline," Jenna insisted as she shrugged away any residual tension, shaking her head and shooing the young woman into the house more fully. It was good to see people around, even if it wasn’t the full house she had become accustomed to during her brief tenure as guardian of Jeremy and Elena. "And good, cause otherwise I’ll end up ordering enough to feed an army and eat it all myself," she spoke ruefully.

"I’ll order a little bit of everything, and we’ll go from there, yeah?" She suggested, picking up the home phone and scanning through the drawer that held the takeout menus to find the one in question. "God, I don’t even know where to start," the strawberry blonde admitted. "I was thinking the Walking Dead, but after last month, I just don’t know, it seems… improper somehow — or is that just me?"

"Ordering a bit of everything? I thought the plan was not to order enough food to feed an entire army?" The tone of her response was rather playful as Caroline settled herself onto the couch in the livingroom, amusement clear on her features as she shifted to watch Jenna hunting through the take-out menu drawer. "That sounds good, oh and you should make a comment about remembering the fortune cookies. Last time I ordered Chinese they forgot to include them and that was disappointing."

Was it improper to watch and enjoy the Walking Dead after that whole mardi gras debacle? Well that's a tricky subject. On the one hand, Caroline didn't like the idea of some horrible event holding them back from enjoying something that they have liked. On the other... she had been outside amongst the masses when the zombies struck, trying to protect people (mostly her mom) did she really want to see zombies again so soon? Even fake zombies? "I don't think it's improper. I mean... supernatural shows seem to be televisions go-to type of show at the moment and if we stopped watching episodes whenever some crazy even happened we would never watch anything."

Now that she thinks about it, there really are a large number of supernatural based shows playing on television right now. Sleepy Hollow was one of the shows she had been trying and failing at keeping caught up on. That's one supernatural thing she would like kept firmly in the fantasy section of her life, thank you very much. "I wouldn't mind the Walking Dead, but if you aren't certain we could watch something else."

Wow you’re actually still concerned about an exam…how you ever got the liberty of becoming a vampire I will never know.

"Yes, I care about the exam. I want to finish school. I want my mom to be able to see me graduate."
