rapunzel doesn't outwardly think that alison is calling her gullible. she also doesn't think that she would say anything at all if she doesn't think it's true, so when alison clarifies and tells her that she actually doesn't think she's gullible, rapunzel still sighs a breath of relief. it's one thing to be teased for being so naive about the world ( something that she tries very hard not to take personally, thank you edyta! ) but it's another for someone she considers a friend to say it. to her face!
so when alison clarifies and corrects her course, rapunzel puts a hand to her chest and closes her eyes. "oh, thank goodness. i didn't mean to assume that's what your intention was; i just know that for a lot of people, they don't necessarily believe in them."
as she continues, though, rapunzel can't help but grow more and more curious. her eyes narrow in playful suspicion, and she tilts her head. "wait, what do you mean? do you know something that i don't?"

and then she notices the photograph of the artist, and her breath catches slightly. "oh----- we do look rather alike," she whispers, noting everything from the golden hair of the singer down to her facial structure. and then, rapunzel smiles. "you really don't have to apologize, i'm taking this as a compliment. is she good?"
