omg why is there not a whole series of lego figures from different indigenous nations, like right now in my possession?
Someone needs to do this.
This would have made my childhood, but there is still time to make my adulthood!
uhhh i have conflicted feelings about this when I think about the fact Lego company was once sued for the use of Polynesian names in a video game. If theyre coming back from that with genuine intent to do better, then good. Just hope they’re not looking for another niche. Why Sacagawea? Is it based around the romanticized mythology that are taught that tend to tokenize the good Native allies? I dunno. Suppose ill keep an eye on things.
Because I wanted to make Sacagawea. There is no intended product line, no misuse or appropriation of culture. Just a man having fun with toys, creating a likeness of a historical figure with all the respect she deserves
