‘    𝐻𝐸𝑌,    ’    𝐷𝐴𝑅𝐶𝑌  𝑀𝑈𝑅𝑀𝑈𝑅𝑆,    𝑆𝑇𝐼𝐿𝐿  𝐶𝑈𝑅𝐿𝐸𝐷  up  in  front  of  the  television  with  her  duvet  covers.    her  head  and  shoulders  are  the  only  part  of  her  body  that  peeks  out  over  them  even  as  she  shuffles  up  a  little  to  make  room  for  emma  on  the  couch.    she  looks  as  though  she  needs  it,    but  darcy  will  have  to  muster  up  the  energy  to  ask  about  how  tired  emma  looks  before  she  asks  her.     darcy  eyes  the  flowers  softly,   smiling  just  a  smidge  at  the  sight  ---  they  mean  more  than  darcy  has  the  words  for  right   now.    ‘    thank  you  for  the  flowers,    and  of  course...    maybe  no  booze  for  me,   but  movies  and  snacks  i’m  alright  with.   ’

‘    𝑆𝑂𝑂𝐾𝐼𝐸!    ’    𝐷𝐴𝑅𝐶𝑌  𝑆𝑀𝐼𝐿𝐸𝑆,    𝐻𝐸𝑅  𝑃𝐸𝐴𝑅𝐿𝑌  𝑊𝐻𝐼𝑇𝐸𝑆  hiding  a  sense  of  uncertainty  as  she  approaches  the  other.    a  food  store  is  an  informal  setting  in  comparison  to  the  last  time  they  met  at  merlotte’s,   but  darcy  has  some  strange  desire  to  be  this  girl’s  friend.    it’s  nice  having  friends  that  know  about  the  supernatural  as  a  whole,     darcy  thinks,    free  of  any  demonic  influence.     though  if  she  really  doesn’t  like  me  like  i  think,    i’ll  leave  her  alone...     oh,   gods,    what  if  she’s  just  nice  to  me  because  she  knows  i’m  dying?    jessica  knows.    does  that  mean  everyone  in  bon  temps  knows?    everyone  certainly  knows  about  eric  and  i,    right?    darcy’s  smile  falters  just  a  smidge.     ‘    it’s  been  a  while  since  i  saw  you  last.    do  you,   um  ---   do  you  remember  me?    you  served  me  at  merlotte’s.    it’s  darcy,    in  case  you  don’t  recall...    ’     𝐹𝑇.  @viragod
