🐺TL:DR: Valko was supposed to appear alongside the other Love Interests in the Summer event, however with his cancellation the development team scrapped him from the lineup even though they most likely had planned for Valko to be a part of the event. This would include but not limited to:

Story-line (most events have 4-7 chapters per Love Interests)
Memory Card
Trailer video
Outfit (base and re-color)

Disclaimer: These are all theories based on pattern recognition from the Misty Invasion (2024) and the You and Midsummer (2025) events that occurred during August of their respective years.
The purpose of this post is to show another aspect of Love and Deepspace that is/will be impacted because of Infold’s decision to scrap Valko.
Take my theories with a grain of salt and as LADS players in trying times the focus should be towards official statements from Infold instead of rumors.

Breaking The Dates Down:
🐺Valko's Banner/Event:
Start Date: July 9th
2 Weeks worth of content: July 9th -> July 23rd
3 Weeks worth of content: July 9th -> July 30th
Misty Invasion (2024)
Start & End Date: August 7th -> August 27th
You and Midsummer (2025)
Start & End Date: August 12th -> August 31st
Explaining the Timeline:
Valko was supposed to release July 9th, it is unclear how long his event/banner were going to last (because Infold deleted/hid everything) but it could be safe to assume a minimum of two weeks for everything. Therefore, July 9th → July 23rd. Or a maximum of three weeks, July 9th → July 30th.
These are very rough ending date estimates but that doesn’t take away the fact that Summer events occur in August. If we were to take either the 23rd or the 30th as possible ending dates, then add 2 or 3 weeks' worth of wait time for a possible start date for Summer 2026. There would approximately be 14 to 21 days in between Valko's ending and Summer's beginning.
Players should have expected the Summer event to occur some time in August because Misty Invasion (2024) ran from August 7th to the 27th (8/7→8/27) While You and Midsummer (2025) ran from August 12th to the 31st (8/12→8/31)
Why It Matters:
Before an event/banner even debuts on Love and Deepspace, teams go through a brainstorming process, creative writing, rendering, coding etc. To bring all of the Love Interests to life, the Summer 2026 event would not have been excluded from this process.
In the TLDR I emphasized planned because it is unclear how many weeks in advance devs at Infold create a banner/event before its release.
However, the time frame between Valko's release and Summer 2026 is too close for the devs to not already have had something planned for Valko. Meaning that Valko's cancellation didn't just impact the main storyline or Stellactrum balance, (there's 6 gems) but the impact goes as far as the multi-banner and event that would release in August because his entire character is scrapped.
As I mentioned earlier, this includes but is not limited to:
Character chibi (2D & 3D)
Blobbus
Mini-game
Story-line (most events have 4-7 chapters per Love Interests)
Memory Card
Trailer video
Outfit (base and re-color)
Matching outfit for MC
Final Comments
Of course, players don't even know what Summer 2026 will entail, such as if blobbus would even be a part of the event or what the mini-game and its mechanics would be. But they are still possibilities that players and devs need to take into account.
My theory is that even though Valko is gone (temporarily please not permanently) devs at Infold had to have at least "something" planned for Valko in the Summer 2026 event. Which means with his cancellation those somethings that were planned are now gone or sitting in limbo. Illustrating another aspect of Valko's character that impacts the game. Of course, players will still get a Summer event in August but that doesn't erase the hard work of Valko's creators.

Since Infold deleted everything pertaining to Valko from their official social media accounts. If fans want to rewatch one of his trailers, they'll have to find it second hand from reuploads.
The Valko: Chasing Night trailer is unlisted, so it doesn't appear on the official YouTube channel's video list. But having the link or saving the video to a playlist allows for people to still view it.
Valko’s cancellation disrupts the Stellactrum flow of Love and Deepspace
🐺 TL:DR → The arrival of Valko in LADS would have balanced out the Stellactrum color/gem matching system via his new Solar Myth pairs, and overall long-term combat scene within the game. Benefiting new and returning players by providing greater team-building flexibility and an accessible roster.
The most important takeaway is that because of Valko’s cancellation no LI will have Amber/Yellow Stellactrum as their primary color, particularly the 1st set of Solar Myth pairs which is the most obtainable because it is non-limited and can be exchanged via Wish Crates.
As opposed to the 2nd and 3rd sets which can only be obtained during reruns/drop-rate-up periods.
Therefore, if you wanted/needed a pair of Amber Solar Cards that are 5 Star you would have to wait when Xavier's Lightseeking Obsession & Lightseeking Shadowrend have a rerun. Or when Rafayel's Mistsea Lament & Mistsea Descent have a rerun.

What is Stellactrum?
Stellactrum is part of the protocore-shield battle system where each color is represented by a gem. In order to break and defeat Wanderers with protocore-shields, the gems aka Stellactrum need to match 100%.
Ruby/Red
Sapphire/Blue
Violet/Purple
Amber/Yellow
Emerald/Green
Pearl/Pink
For example, in Hunter Contest, you can’t break the protocore shields in combat if you’re using Ruby/Red and Sapphire/Blue memories while the battle’s requirement for a Stellactrum match is Amber/Yellow and Violet/Purple.
Why Does Valko's Stellactrum Matter?
Valko would have introduced more sets of Amber Stellactrum outside of Xavier and Rafayel.
More Sapphire Stellactrum outside of Zayne and Sylus.
And more Violet Stellactrum outside of Rafayel and Caleb.
This means more diversity of choosing who you want to main in both combat/battles and as a Love Interest instead of having to choose either or.
Limited Stellactrum = Smaller room to farm because players are limited to farming the smaller stages that they can accomplish.
But There Are Lunar Memory Cards That Are Amber!
Yes, Xavier and Rafayel have Amber as their main Stellactrum, but having the right Solar pair is also important for team building to be able to defeat Wanderers with protocore shields. Especially in higher level battles where the amount of memory cards in that color matter.

The Other Love Interests Have Amber Stellactrum!
Yes, but the number of Lunar Amber memory cards is lower than what Rafayel and Xavier have and is not a viable option long-term because
The cards are few and far between with MONTHS in between of their releases.
Many of them released during multi-banners.
Zayne 5 Star Lunar Amber Memories: 4
Sylus 5 Star Lunar Amber Memories: 3
Caleb 5 Star Lunar Amber Memories: 1
The absence of a Solar myth pair’s card and companion negatively impacts players who are first starting out, making their climb to having well-rounded teams more difficult as the Amber Stellactrum and protocore-fields will hold them back.
This logic also applies to well-established players who have been playing LADS for years because even though they are doing fine and have cleared stages without the Amber Stellactrum. It does NOT take away the fact that Valko's addition to the game would have balanced the Stellactrum out. Two things can be true at the same time.
Stellactrum, the Love Interests, and why it matters:
Each Love Interest fulfills a primary, secondary and tertiary colored gem Stellactrum, this is organized depending on the Stellactrum of the 5 Star Solar Myth pair Memory Cards.
In combat modes where Stellactrum matching matters. (Bounty hunt, Protocore hunt, Deepspace trails for LI, Open Orbit, Hunter contest stage etc.) Having the correct Stellactrum which is achieved through having the corresponding memory cards is essential to a majority of the farming in-game. Without them, beating higher level opponents particularly those with protocore shields becomes difficult and traps players in lower-level combat battles where rewards and materials are scarcer. Or leaves them trapped in a limbo where they are unable to advance any higher.
The 1st set of Solar memory cards and their Stellactrum is referred to as their primary, this is the pair that is released upon a Love Interest’s debut to the game. When the drop rate up event ends the memory cards remain in the Xspace echo summoning pool or can be exchanged with Wish Crates. Therefore, any player at any time can summon a primary set as opposed to the secondary and tertiary which are limited and can only be claimed via reruns.
As of July 2026, no two LI share the same primary, secondary, and tertiary order. For example, even though Zayne and Sylus both have Pearl/Pink and Sapphire/Blue Stellactrum cards, the order is different. Sapphire is Zayne’s primary while Sylus’ tertiary. Pearl is Sylus’ primary while Zayne’s tertiary.
Below Is Each LI's Solar Myth Memory Card and Stellactrum:
This would have been Valko's Stellactrum based on the previously established order.
**The most important takeaway is that because of Valko’s cancellation no LI will have Amber/Yellow Stellactrum as their primary**
Additionally, no LI will have Sapphire as a secondary so players will have to rely solely on Zayne or Sylus. Same as Violet because the only other options will be Rafayel or Caleb.
Significance?
The Amber Stellactrum is locked behind a re-run wall because only Xavier (Secondary myth) and Rafayel (tertiary myth) have it within their Solar memories.
If players wish to obtain a pair of Amber Solar memory cards and it's companion, they would have to wait when Xavier's Solar memory cards Lightseeking Obssession & Shadowren have a rerun or when Rafayel's Mistsea Lament & Descent have a rerun.
The problem is most present in the following battles modes:
Deepspace trials → Open Orbit (300 Levels) and Fluctuating Open Orbit. (60 Levels) Of course not all stages require a yellow Stellactrum, but being unable to complete the ones that do is a barrier on being able to advance.
Bounty Hunt → Lemonette → Ascension materials required for Amber and Emerald Stellactrum. Sightings 9 offers the max amount of reward possible, but Lemonette requires three Amber memory cards at level. 70 or higher.
Hunter Contest → Senior Hunting Contest → Stellactrum matching fluctuates every two weeks, with some colors appearing in a season while others don’t. Currently (7/1) there aren’t any Amber Stellactrums. In the current lineup, you need 6 Violet/Purple memory cards to match all of the Stellactrum requirements, otherwise beating the wanderers becomes too difficult resulting in incomplete stages (ie. failing to score 3 stars = lower total stage progress reward = unable to get the full 600 diamonds reward at 33 total stars
With the current example of the Violet Stellactrum, whose to say that in future seasons players won’t also be faced with 6 Amber Stellactrum?
Final Comments
Some might argue (and I do agree) that with the current stage of the game and Infold’s behaviour that something as frivolous as matching Stellactrum should be at the bottom of everyone’s concerns. However, the points that I made about the combat system and how Valko would have balanced some things out still hold true. Love and Deepspace is an Otome but it has a combat system at the same time, and to ignore it and the influence it has on other in-game features wouldn’t be the brightest move.
Farming provides diamonds, ascension materials, EXP, gold, achievements etc. that help players unlock 5 stars in the first place and subsequently level them up. Which in turn increases affinity that unlocks Secret Times, phone calls, text messages, poses, personal items for LI etc. The biggest reasons why players love memory cards is the kindled feature, memoria, and the myths for Solar pairs. However, all of this comes at the monetary cost in the form of diamonds which have to come from somewhere. (and ofc real money and deepspace wish)
Of course, the Amber Stellactrum isn’t some big clue or the end all be all which will fix the current farming system let alone the state of the game. But Valko providing greater team flexibility for the combat system is a step in a direction (I won’t comment if its positive or negative but at least its something)
“This must be your first time playing an Otome, let me expl-” Hush! People are allowed to be upset and to ask for better treatment, just because that's industry standard to treat players subpar does not make it right. Closed mouths don’t get fed and if you’re ok with an inadequate or even deteriorating game experience please go take a seat in the back.
And that's the part that's making me lose my fucking mind.
We lost an entire section of the MAIN STORY.
The livestream literally told us Valko's release was going to reveal more about the Aethercore—one of the biggest mysteries in Love and Deepspace and something that's been central to the plot from the very beginning.
So now what?
You think they can just delete him and nothing changes?
Do people genuinely think you can rip out an entire story arc without consequences?
Everything that was supposed to be revealed through Valko now has to be rewritten, redistributed, or outright cut. The main story is going to have to be retconned. Future updates are going to have to be reworked. Characters may have to be rewritten just to fill the gap he leaves.
If you're celebrating this because you "won," I sincerely hope you understand what you've actually cheered for.

Actionable Ideas for Challenging Infold Over Valko's Release
A lot of LADS fans are really upset over Infold's decision to shelve Valko. This is my attempt at creating action items for fans wanting to do something but are unsure where to start.
Here are some methods for giving Infold feedback:

Reply to their posts on X (Twitter)
Comment on their Instagram posts
Comment on their Facebook posts
Comment on their YouTube videos
Join their official Discord Server and voice your dissatisfaction
Leave a 1-star review on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store
Complete the survey in the Love and Deepspace app by selecting the box/pencil icon in the top right corner of the home screen
"Suggest" Valko's release in the Love and Deepspace app by going to Settings > More > Support, then select "Suggestion"
(If you want to be slightly passive-aggressive) On 9 July, go to Settings > More > Support, then select "Bug Report" and fill out the report stating that the promised Valko content is missing
Remember: if we want Infold to listen to us, we MUST remain civil and demonstrate our affection for the game. I highly doubt they will be intimidated by non-CN players, which means we are held to a different standard. What is effective for them will not be effective for us.
With that said, remember these do's and dont's:
Do repeatedly submit/post/send your feedback over the next few weeks. Email them today, in a few days, on 9 July, and in the weeks after. Post on their social media every day. Overwhelm them and show them this isn't going to go away over a few free Wishes.
Do prepare to CONTINUE submitting/posting/sending your feedback over the next few months. Infold needs to see that we won't let this issue go. Schedule emails to be sent to them over the next 3 months. Draft X posts today and copy and paste them to post in a few months time. Draft your long-form in-app feedback in preperation for the update and the upcoming banners. Create reminders to check and comment on their posts weekly. Don't let them get comfortable. Be a dog with a bone (lol).
Do maintain a polite tone in your feedback (even when you are issuing a threat like leaving the game).
Do specify your current disappointments, long-term criticisms, and expectations for the future of the game should you continue to play.
Do clearly isolate your long-term issues with the game from the current issue of Valko's release. Make it clear that those issues are not resolved by delaying or permanently canceling Valko's debut.
Do talk positively about whatever you can (ie. enjoying other LIs, enjoying the content of the Main Story itself, appreciating the worldbuilding, etc). This may feel difficult, but it demonstrates that you are a passionate player. Infold can assume that a player so invested in the game would need something drastic to push them to leave.
Don't use profanity.
Don't reference CN players.
Don't bring up Infold's past mistakes. We need to stay focused on the current issues.
Don't criticize anything about Valko's teased content. This one may be unpopular, I know. If Infold is pulling back Valko's release, I don't think it's likely that they will be willing to invest any more time and money into his development. If they continue to get more and more criticisms about him and don't care to change anything about him, they will never release him. I'm not minimizing any fan's concerns; I'm suggesting we choose a priority.
If you are unsure where to start, here are some talking points:
Express your excitement over Valko (bonus points if you give reasons why). Did you come back from a long hiatus for him?
Express your disappointment over not having Valko in the game. How will it impact your enjoyment of the game?
Describe how you prepared for his anticipated arrival.
• In-game (farm for dias, bought packs, etc)
• On your devices (created storage space, bought a new device, etc)
• Financially (budgeted for buying packs upon his release, etc)
Describe how you engaged in fandom around Valko. Did you create fanart, fanfiction, or other fanworks? How much were you consuming fanworks showcasing him? Demonstrating how beloved he was before any real content of his being released indicates a warm reception if/when he is released.
What are the current issues you experience with the game? Be specific. Describe exactly how they impact your gameplay. Suggest a concrete way those issues could be resolved. Assert that Valko's release being postponed or canceled will not resolve these issues.
Express concern for the changes to their planned story arc his absence would create. Question if those changes would be as enjoyable as their original plan.
(If you're feeling up to it) Acknowledge the amount of time, effort, and money that must have gone into creating Valko. Let them know it would disappoint you to see it go to waste.
Infold made a terrible decision. We need to take action and let Infold know that a large portion of the LADS fanbase wants Valko to be released at some point. Let's try to remain positive where we can, engage in positive fandom, and do our best to make our voices heard by Infold.

Frustrating PT TWO
"Remove your clothing..."
Prime's voice made the boards you stood on shake. Looking up at the Cybertronian, you take a moment to debate. Are you in danger? His engine was in a low but constant growl. shakey breaths let you taste the dust in the air, the smell of oil and ozone that tends to cling to his kind. Optimus has just commanded you to take your clothing off. Not asked, commanded. Another moment of hesitation and he ex-vents sharply.
"Did I stutter?"
"No." You aren't trying to sound like a smartass. Which is good, since you sound like a frightened kitten with that squeak of a response.
"Then do as you're told for once."
Oh, the way he growled makes you shiver in this warm barn. Glancing around, more for your nerves, you reach for the buttons of your shirt. Optimus backs away from the loft, pacing the cramped space of the barn. Optics unblinking on your slow movements to remove the shirt and pants. He's always insisted on you wearing utilitarian clothing when with them. Not cute or to your tastes. Just... serviceable. Left in a tank top and your undergarments, you put your arms around you.
"Did I say you could leave anything on?" He's on the far side of the barn, half turned away, half in shadow. How does he look so menacing? "You truly are incapable of following orders. Finish it, or I will."
Arms crossed, grabbing the edge of the tank, you pause. Meeting his Optics makes you think Twice. There is a rush to rid yourself of the meager bits of clothing you still have on. The wood is old, but not splintery under your feet. A small thing you are grateful for as you hold your arms around you. Bare before the spiders, termites and Optimus. He keeps a gaze on you, holding very still where he stands. Optics blazing a trail over your body. Metal clinks and his servos flex before he steps over. Even on the loft of the barn, he towers over you.
"Put your arms down."
"Prime-"
"Do not speak unless I ask you a question." His voice echoes in your chest, "Put. Your arms. Down."
A deep breath and you listen, still tense. Still unsure of just what was about to happen.
Optimus Pokes you in the chest, "When you got hit with shrapnel after I told you to stay hidden," It was a small scar, one you almost forgot about, but his touch... The living metal was warm, and despite all the edges that could make up a cybertronian, it left no mark of its own. With a single digit, he lifts your arm while a thumb runs along till it traces over a longer scar.
"When you were caught in the rubble after an attack... After you ignored retreat orders." He narrows his optics as he traces that scar another time. You look away. Your body feels hot where he caresses. Is it anger that makes him so warm?
"From when you tripped" a scar on your hip. An Embarrassing memory that he doesn't even have to word. You both know you had disregarded an order then too.
"From when the Deceptions captured you after you snuck into their transport." The ring around your ankle. That metal cuff had dug in deep. You couldn't even remember how long you had been a captive. You remembered him finding you. Covered in Energon and cradeling you close as he ripped the chain out of the wall.
Metallic fingertips graze the one down your back and you look to the side, It almost feels like he is cupping his servo around you. "From Lockdown..." It's your voice that speaks. Quietly admitting guilt.
"So you are aware how insubordinate you are." he huffs, pulling away. Your skin goosebumps. The warm air is cold after his touch.
"I'm sorry Prime, I-"
"No you're not." Servos brace on the loft, Optimus leans close. Face plates right Infront of you. Daring to meet his optics, he continues, "You continuously put yourself in danger, ignoring orders meant to keep you safe. Thrill junkie? I've seen enough of them in autobot ranks. The same thing always happens." He reaches out, pushing you down onto old sacks that are surprisingly comfortable. You try not to think about the dust. Or the fact he has you caged down with his servo. Leaning over you, "dead... I will not see the same happen to you, I will sate this need for thrills."
Optimus is a very large, very heavy, and very strong robot alien. You are a naked human. Bare of any sort of protection from him. As terrifying as it is, you can't help but think the reason your shaking isn't just fear. Not when your breath hitches as he runs a metal thumb over your skin, leaving fire in it's wake.
"I will teach you obedience." Optimus growls, "Get on your hands and knees, face away from me." He stands, servos by his side and despite leaving that small distance between you, it feels like he surrounds you. The energy he gave off, the command, the presence. Engine growling as you stare at him a moment too long. Hands and knees it is, awkwardly laid across dusty old sacks. Looking over your shoulder earns another engine growl.
"You will not look at me. you will not look anywhere but forward." Metal fingers pull you up from laying, "hands and knees I said. You will not lay. If you look away or lay down, we will start over."
"Start ov-" A sharp sting to your ass makes you yelp and look behind you. He had... he flicked you. He was ... Optimus was spanking you. His servo hovered behind you, optics narrowed.
"I will not warn you again. Turn around."
A small huff of laughter escapes you. The giant robot was flicking your ass to spank you.
"Do you find this comical?" Another, this one harder. Enough to jolt you forward.
"N-No Optimus."
"Good." another, this time across your thighs. It made you gasp and shiver as his giant thumb smooths over the skin for a moment. A flash of quick sharp pain, followed by the just too warm to be soothing, touch. His next strike wasn't as sharp, but a solid thump almost. You fell forward and he tuts, "Start over." Another while you're still down. It makes you squeal, legs kicking up.
"Start what over?" you question, trying to get back up, only to be pressed down so he can loom over you again. The air from his vents does nothing to cool you down.
"Can you not follow one rule?" The growl of his voice is backed by the engine and you feel it through the wood and in your body, "Hands and knees, stare forward and do not speak unless I ask you a question." Servo trailing down your body and you swear you feel his derma ghost along your skin. "Do you understand?"
"Yes... sir."
The growl becomes a purr and he moves away again. Only the sound of his internal systems, a faint buzz or whirr, letting you know he is still there. You steady your breathing, looking ahead. This was kind of intense, something you boasted about being able to take but could you? Another flick of his servo and you're struck across your ass and thighs by two digits. The metal would leave you unable to sit for a few days you were sure of it. Besides the yelp, you followed the rules, focusing on some mark in the wooden walls, gripping your fingers into the semi-soft sacks. Pain radiating from where it landed. Taking a deep breath, you ready yourself, and Optimus times it. Breathless, you cannot make a sound, but arch as that next one, a lighter smack, hits right between your legs. You might have moaned, but would that just make him start over? Was it the point of this, was he getting off? Was it just inter-galactic misunderstanding of professional discipline? Wouldn't be the first time you had to explain a porn concept was NOT to be an example.
Hot metal smooths down your back, a crooked digit rubbing against your bare cunt and- yeah, he had to be getting off on this.
"Perhaps if you learn your place, I may show you a reward." The tip presses between your lips and you whimper. "But not today." his touch is gone one moment and another strike before you can even register it. Another. Another. Some are light flicks that make you jump more from anticipation. Some are those same hard thumps that make you grit your teeth and try not to fall. Some hurt enough for you to cry out. Optimus says nothing as you press your upper body to the sacks between you and the wood of the loft. He can grant you this without comment if it means you present yourself so willingly for the rest of the punishment. Metal digits flick against your skin, till he seems satisfied and your whimpers are enough to make him think you may have learned a lesson. The skin on your thighs and ass hurts like hell, but there is a different ache as well. One that makes your rub your thighs together even as you sniffle. Damn, would this make you behave, or act out more to get this kind of treatment?
Optimus drags you towards him, scoffing at how half-heartedly you grab at the sacks and how meekly you turn in his palm to look up at him. Doe-eyed and remorseful. A bit further than he meant to take this, but you had been frustrating him so much. All he wanted to do was protect you.
"There now... Have we learned our lesson?" You nod, sniffling. Thighs parted, you knew what you were doing. Based on the sound he made, you'd get a reward after all~
