one of the best things about the cram group (+their friends) is that to the rest of their class, none of them seem like they would ever interact with each other, let alone be close friends. like. imagine being a first year at true cross and everyone's got their little cliques, but then there's this one just Really Weird group that includes:
the class president, who's generally considered Smart and Friendly, if not a little bit closed off. plus quite a few people find him attractive
the class president's Weird Ass Twin. nobody could guess they're related from their grades and behaviour. everyone thinks he's a freak. he carries a fucking sword around for some reason but isn't part of the kendo club or anything like that. he seems like a delinquent. that one guy who's kind of an asshole is TERRIFIED of him. his brother say he's good at cooking but that seems untrue considering how much of a disaster he is. nobody can get a read on this fucking guy.
the blonde girl who transferred in halfway through the year. she's nice but kind of awkward. people were probably all over her for like a week after she transferred in but the attention eventually faded. and then she straight up FOUGHT the principal's terrifying ass nephew. so now she has a reputation for being nice but also an absolute badass.
that guy from kyoto who looks like a punk but is in the advanced class. people definitely recognised him by his hair and got major whiplash when he cut it. also they probably know he has a job and that it keeps him really busy but they don't know the details.
the bald kid who somehow knows every cat on the fucking campus. apparently he makes cat toys. he seems like a nice guy though. he's more known for hanging around with an Interesting Group of people, he seems pretty normal otherwise.
Shima. i guarantee you every single girl in the grade (and some of the girls in the upper grades) know who he is. a lot of the guys know him by proxy. Fucking Annoying. need i say more.
That One Girl who doesn't have many friends outside of that one group and probably has a reputation for being an asshole and keeping to herself. (ily izumo but i guarantee you people still think of her as being kind of a jerk. god forbid women do anything.) i doubt she's as good as she thinks at hiding her affection for cute things. people know about it they just don't interact with her all that much because of her personality so they don't really care either
paku, who actually probably has some popularity within the class because she's a generally agreeable person to be around, but she's generally seen as someone who's pretty normal. people don't really get why she hangs out with izumo constantly, let alone the rest of this grab bag ass group.
godaiin is probably just A Guy. he doesn't have a reputation at all aside from "that guy who had a panic attack in the hall once." same as paku in regards to being really normal in comparison to everyone else. has led to questions about how he ended up in this group to begin with.
someone's probably asked about how they got to know one another (most likely, they asked paku or yukio). they've both said it's a cram school, obviously, but they're really cagey about it. which is weird because paku is usually more open, and some of the people in the group do Not seem like they'd go to cram school At All (looking at you, rin and shima). i guarantee you that a few people have come up with absurd conspiracy theories as to what they're doing. none of them have really picked up that much traction though, even though a lot of people do find that group to be strange.
