/Mini blog post #3/ Aside from makeup, the Koreans also have a plethora of cafés! It's no joke when we see them in K-dramas meeting their chinggeus over caffeine. As for me, I don't prefer black coffee much so when I'm in a coffee shop, my go-to is always milk tea or lemon iced tea (whatever is available 😂). So when we went to Angel-in-Us, I ordered milk tea again but in rose hip (usually I go for chocolate; I'm such an adventurous person like that) because I just felt like trying it. Cafés, shops, and even small restaurants don't give you a number so they can give you your order; instead, they give you a device which lights up and gives an alarm that yep your order is ready!~ Their rose hip milk tea comes in a, guess what, WHITE color hahahahaha. I, for a second, thought it wasn't mine because I was expecting it to look gray pink lol. It was filled with three tea bags! 😂😍 And much to my surprise, it was good! /Mini blog post #2/ We went to Bukchon Hanok Village where thousands of traditional Korean houses still stand today. They were structures of wonder as they have stood the test of time (but most of their roofs now are cemented) and people's taste (because people STILL live there). What's sad, though, are the plight of the inhabitants as the slew and noise of tourists have made the village too unbearable for them to live in. A bit exaggerated but along the way, you will see papers taped on their front doors telling people to understand them because they are "suffering" from all the tourist visits. So if you plan on going there, make sure to converse in silence and throw litter in bins so as not to disturb the villagers. 1. Metro fashion: Korean women don't let the long walks in the subway stop them from looking fab. Today, most of them wear strappy sandals with chunky heels to give an extra oomph to their height and to avoid accidents on the escalators (pencil-thin heels are a no-no, they might get stuck to the linings of the floors of the escalators). 2-3. Culinary creativity Just like the Japanese, Koreans have a way of turning international flavors into their own unique ones. The chickes we ate on the first day were served boneless and in sauces I can't even pronounce let alone spell 😂 the most important thing is that they're all delicious! 😍 4. Breeze through Korea with T-money While carrying cash is okay, it is more convenient to carry T-money cards. They can be used everywhere!-- from riding the bus to paying your convenience store purchases. Plus they come in different cover designs.
