As I sit here reflecting on the past, I can proudly say that I no longer blame anyone for what happened to us. Lately
I’ve been finding myself reminiscing about my old, and as some would say, “good” habits. Let’s take writing for instance. I remember in high school I would handwrite in my journal and even blog about the many things that came across my mind that I wanted to express. From thoughts on working out, to my daily/weekly updates on life, to future plans and goals. After finishing reading my latest book, it finally dawned on me that I discontinued this healthy mental process that would have greatly benefited me these past years. With the amount of traffic and movement inside my brain, especially at this turning point of my life, it only makes sense for me to start writing again.
Cheers to my newest goal: Write, write, write way more often
This is how my final project for shop orientation is going. Pretty excited for the submission tomorrow :) I’m in love with African Mahogany, the color is absolutely beautiful. There were many different species of wood that interested me, but I felt this was a nice choice for my paper lantern. I decided to use a clear wood finish so it wouldn’t take away from the natural color
