for that moment when a cat loves you enough to roll over and let you pet their tummy without scratching and/or biting you.
for how you feel when the air smells when itās raining but sunny at the same time and how nice the warmth feels on your skin in contrast to cool rain.
for that moment of it was worth it when you stay up all night reading a book and realize that itās impacted you in some way, months or even years down the road.
for that blissful feeling you get when youāre alone in your room, dancing to your favorite music with candles lit everywhere or incense burning softly.
for that fluttering of happiness you get in your chest when a stranger smiles at you and thereās no rhyme or reason; theyāre just a kind person and think you deserve some kindness, too.
for the anticipation of meeting your favorite celebrity someday, because that shit can happen.
for the warmth in the center of your chest when you get drunk in a room full of people that you know will want to make sure you get safely back home.
for the peace of a lazy sunday afternoon spent wrapped up in your bed with your favorite show playing on netflix and your favorite junk food within reach.
because you deserve to live. you deserve to experience the wonders of life and all that it can hold for you. you deserve to feel happy, joyful, sad, torn-apart, wrecked, absolutely euphoric, and every other emotion that we beautiful, broken humans are capable of feelings. and it would be a damn shame if you werenāt able to.
