“I’M TRYING BUT IT’S ABOUT TO CRAWL UP MY NO-”

And just like that, the slayer saw his whole life flashed before his eyes. The first time he tried to catch a fish, the first time he tried on his slayer suit, the first time he ate a snake (it was gross by the way)…all of that appeared before him until his head was clobbered by the flying history tome that hit straight on his face. Falling backwards towards the ground, the eyes spun in circles before he groaned out his reply.

      Oh dear. The girl’s wide eyed gaze stared at the other with fright. What          had she just done? Oh goodness,... Kagome threw the book aside and          hovered worriedly over her poor victim. There was the smallest trickle of           blood oozing from his nose and down his cheek, only making the little          miko that much more concerned. An enormous wave of guilt washed          through her small frame and she began to panic frantically. Oh no oh no!

The beads around his neck began to glow. There was a high-pitch whine that made his head and ears hurt, and then the beads dragged him to the ground with enough force to shake leaves from nearby trees. The sudden, violent movement rendered him motionless, but only a moment passed before a furious face was pulled from the dirt.

        She was satisfied when his face slammed into the dirt, thinking it was         exactly what he deserved. She wore a frown on her face when he          lifted his head, her arms folded firmly across her chest. When Inuyasha         grumbled about any ‘thanks’ he thought he deserved, she gave an          annoyed roll of her eyes in response. But, then, that foul word fell from          his lips and Kagome’s fury burned anew, fire alight in her eyes.

Amber eyes look incredulously at her. The sheath of the Tetsusaiga comes down in a sharp, swift motion – a merciful death for the poor creature who also had to endure this idiotic girl’s screaming.

     Kagome grunted, folding her arms over her chest. She resisted the      urge to retort. Says the one with dog ears, she thought. She figured      saying it wouldn’t bother him, but, she knew something that would.

“HOLD STILL, KAGOME-SAMA!” Taking the dagger off from his boot, he was ready to aim and DEFINITELY ready to fire. Flinging it towards the small beast’s direction, his blade pierced right through its little body.

“…It…It should be dead now…” Approaching towards his target, he stepped up front and inspected it close with a leaned in stare.

“Hmm, seems like the little guy is go-”

       The squealing didn’t come to a stop, even after he seemingly killed           the tiny beast. Kagome shifted away, eyes wide with terror. Demons           were nothing compared to spiders! Then, just when she’d thought            the nightmare was over completely, he started screaming frantically.

     Which caused Kagome to shriek.

        “KOHAKU-!! GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!”

        Though the woman he was tailing looked like an ordinary woman, he dared not approach her. If this truly was the reincarnation of Kikyou, there was no telling what hidden powers this girl possessed. It could be a matter of seconds before an arrow came ripping through the air in his direction. No, he wouldn’t gamble his puppet away so carelessly, however interesting the girl may seem.

     You know that feeling you get when you know you’re being watched?      The shudders and overall awkward feeling of the unknown presence's      gaze scrutinizing your every single move? Kagome hated that feeling.      And as the tingles climbed up her spine, she jerked her head around,      looking in the trees for her surveyor. Dark hues greeted by nothingness.

            “Hmmm,...” 

    Turning back, she decided to keep going, but keeping a tight grip on      her bow. She knew someone was there. Perhaps a demon. But if so,     it was too far away and she couldn’t sense any sort of aura around.
