Still, she isn't out of the woods yet.

"Bites?" Cataleya echoes.

For a moment she questions if all the panic somehow made her forget that she was bitten. She doesn't feel hurt aside from where she hit the ground. But, this woman seems to know best, so she gives a slow nod.

She suspected as much, they had gotten to her before the spider demon even got a chance to chomp down on Cat’s leg. It still never hurts to check, with Jorogumo venom…it was better to administer an antidote than to wait.

Kaiden has seen what happens if one waits…and it was an experience she would prefer not to see again.

As Kaiden conducted her investigation, Aki’s eyes glanced at her partner, before glancing up at Cat. Her head never left Cat’s lap, she found herself enjoying the gentle petting from the girl. A small little grumble of approval rumbling in the dog’s throat. 

Kaiden looked down at Cat, a smile on her face “No bites.” she was keeping the mood gentle and calm. Not wanting to add on to any unnecessary stress, though the worry that they weren’t out of the woods yet was nagging at her.

Turns out Kaiden only has two GOOD children.

“I don’t blame you for wanting to wait…especially with an out of the blue reaction like that. Maybe wait a couple days till he cools back down.” An arm draped across the younger lady’s shoulder, bringing her close for a one armed hug.

“Would you feel better about talking to him if I was also there? Hypothetically.”
