I don’t wanna be another transgender runaway statistic. I don’t want to be put in the situation where I have to run away from the one person left in my family because they don’t care about anything I have to say. My deadbeat dad is literally dead. His side of the family doesn’t know shit all about me at this point. I’m trying really hard to find a doctor within a decent amount of time who will allow me to transition. I’ve been out for a year and a half now and I’m still being misgendered and not taken seriously at all. I have a wonderful group of friends from starting the GSA at my college and I’m responsible for starting many happy relationships, friendship and making connections for friends so they’re not on the street. I have a girlfriend who is the best person I’ve ever met and I’ve never felt so at home with someone. Just when I thought nobody would want to stay with a tranny ahaha birds of a feather they say...

I’m just frustrated a lot right now because I’m not being heard by the one person I thought would want to listen the most. I’m being blatantly ignored and blamed for my feeling and lashed out on when I don’t deserve it. I honestly planned to hop a train back to my girlfriend’s and look for work there and ditch everything here cause I feel that fucking worthless to the people here. However the last thing I need is to be cut from school and put in an insane asylum just cause nobody listens to the queer sheep of the family. The only fucking sheep at this point really.

I’m so angry and I feel so alone. I’m reaching out to the world because I want to have a safe place to turn to when home just isn’t providing the love respect support or even tolerance level that would make me feel safe. Which is pretty sad that the person who preached “if you can’t trust me you can’t trust anyone” is making it so hard to have a decent conversation about something I care about just because they would rather ignore issues and they have no apparent interest in what I’m going through. They just wanna hear “school is good how’s your boyfriend?” when all I wanna say is “I finally love myself enough to give myself the opportunities I deserve to make these life changes that I’ve been thinking of in depth for two-three years now and I wish you’d support me or be proud of me or at least show me the tiniest shred of respect that you’d give a stranger”
