ATLANTIC AVE ON FILM: I’ve traveled on Atlantic Ave countless times in my life. Whether it’s been on foot, by board, or by car. The thoroughfare has been a pivotal part of my experiences since I could remember, the same goes for other countless natives of this restless city. Since the street runs from Brooklyn Heights to Jamaica, Queens, I wanted to document some of the street during this period of gentrification in New York City. It’s bittersweet but capturing these photos is the best way I know to pay respects to the environment a lot of us once knew. [SEPT 2025]
