Heart warrior journey.
Nothing is more terrifying than hearing your unborn child has a heart problem. What makes it worse is them saying they can't tell you what's wrong. Getting transferred to the U of M has been the most amazing thing that could have happened. Not only were they able to get us answers, but they've been extremely supportive and making sure we're ok while making sure our little one is ok also. It's been a long journey but the one thing I want to let people know, is there are good outcomes for heart babies. When we found out what was wrong (and there was a lot) I spent hours searching for others people experiences and outcomes of babies with similar conditions. Unfortunately nobody posts about the good outcomes and positive things. It was horrible only seeing sad endings, so hopefully someone finding themselves in a similar position will read this and realize there is hope. Have faith in your little one, they are stronger than you know. I'll make another post about the insane ups and downs of the journey, but for now I'll go back to cuddling my little miracle.
