I keep waking up at 7:30am.

May 2016:

  Bank of America Ignite with Tech:

  Got an overview of Bank of America and it’s technology plans. Stayed in a hotel that’s lobby looked wayyy nicer than it’s room. Met a lot of black kids from Howard and other HBCU’s. Developed a surprisingly large crush on a kid named David, I love my sensitive ambitious boys. I networked VERY well on the last day with the COO of BofA’s internal processes division. Related a SWE story and he gave a lot of very good insight. Met a lot of black people which is very reassuring lol

   Deutsche Bank Rise Into Success:

   This was actually about investment banking lmao. At least 7 of the like 40 people were from Wharton. I learned that I love Corporate Finance. A nice mix of teamwork and competitiveness. At the end a recruiter actually came up to me to introduce herself. I think that’s a VERYYY good sign,especially as an Engineering student. I really want to intern with this company the summer after sophomore year, like that would be AMAZING

October 2015:

My first 1.5 days of orientation was just an overview of the company and what their goals are.

Lots of sitting and listening. Unfortunately I sat in the back corner and could hear NONE of it. I have a knack for finding the worst seats.

I’ve met A TON of cool people. I’m one of the few rising sophomore, and there are manyyyy rising seniors. Just listening to their conversations on different technology companies really gives me insight into what to expect from Silicon Valley.

It’s going to be crazy trying to use my current salary as leverage next summer like HOLY SHYT

This afternoon was CRAZY. We had to set up our computers and I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.

I’ve never felt more lost in my lifeee. Hopefully I can get my shit together tho!

GOOOD LORD! I already have a crush on some boy. I need to catch a break like I can nottt keep doing this. But his face is so yummy *cackling*

Also everything is expensive in SF. I am terrified of looking at my bank account.

I got the same score on my PSAT as I did last year. I should be improving, not staying stagnant and unchanged.

It feels like my life has been going sour. The past 3 weeks have been really shitty and unmotivating.
