A final Render of my set extension

Here is the final comp of my set extension. I had trouble comping the two images together as most of my time was spent painting textures, causing me to lose time to complete the composition in a more satisfactory way

Most of the texturing process has been comparing the reference to the texture on the model and tweaking the levels mask in order to properly match the grime 

Textures are still in progress. 

The final image is the complete version of the building. Though the boards are difficult to see in this version 

Here are black and white versions of the backgrounds I took pictures of. 

These are the best shots of the locations I took pictures at on Friday the 20th. That I might use to comp in to the background. Personally I feel like the second Image might be the closest option for me to use. As the Horizon is the most similar to the background from my Original Image. 

The image I chose for my set extension  is a still from the opening scene a movie called “Twelve O’Clock High”.  While there were other images for me to chose from, I ultimately went with this one, because it provided enough of a challenge without being overwhelming.
