Set extension for Sci-Fi themed video effects: Spaceship arrives
This is the source image I used as my base texture and a more final version of the texture on the front wall of the main building.
In order to create this texture I cropped the original image and then used the cropped version to create a seemless texture. One i created a seemless texture I then turned the image black and white and then darkened the grunge areas with a levels mask.
Most of the texturing process has been comparing the reference to the texture on the model and tweaking the levels mask in order to properly match the grime

Problems I am still currently trying to fix include how bright the lights in the scene make the background image and the hard shadow of the rails.

These shots all show my progress in modeling this buiding. The first image is a incomplete version that I incorrectly built through the use of forced perspective.
The subsequent images are an incomplete version of the building done properly without forced perspective
The final image is the complete version of the building. Though the boards are difficult to see in this version
Here are black and white versions of the backgrounds I took pictures of.
These are the best shots of the locations I took pictures at on Friday the 20th. That I might use to comp in to the background. Personally I feel like the second Image might be the closest option for me to use. As the Horizon is the most similar to the background from my Original Image.
