My name is Shark, or, as most of you know me, Cartoon.

I'm using this blog purely just to post about Mega Man/Rockman and my ocs, but I'm in other fandoms as well.

Why go by another name?

My Mega Man persona is a robot by the name of Shark Man, so I thought it would be cool if he served as my identity elsewhere. (If that makes sense)

What is your sexuality, gender, and pronouns?

Thank you for asking! I am almondsexual and xenogender (masc presenting), and I go by any/all pronouns. Feel free to use whatever you'd like to describe me (neo pronouns included)!

I have roughly 10 the last time I counted, but I could be missing a few.

Finally got myself to draw Shark Man in color.

Honestly, I'm not too sure how I feel about it even after having finished the drawing. I feel like something's off, but I'm not sure what. But oh well.... I'm too lazy to fix it.

For a while I've had this little headcanon in my mind that all the minor little robots (mettaurs, ring rings, etc) communicate through specific frequencies rather than speaking due to the fact that most of them don't have mouths (and even if they do, that it's very unlikely Wily or Light gave them voices), and that the robot masters can switch from English/Japanese (whatever language they speak) to creating frequencies with their voice. That way, they can talk to eachother and relay information without worrying about trying to explain something through frantic beeping and body language.

In fact, my oc Suku communicates this way! He was originally a Ring Ring (or Saturn Seeker) on Ring Man’s stage and was built without a mouth, so he learned how to speak through frequencies. Even now, after being shot down by Rockman and building his own body, he prefers to communicate like this.

Shark Man was built by a female doctor (still figuring out her name) on Oct 3rd. He's modeled after a mako shark, as they're known for their speed and agility, and his purpose is to protect reefs and organisms in the ocean from threats, as well as explore the deep sea and record data.

After an incident that left his creator/mom dead (she was shot three times), he ran away to live in the sea for a couple of years, refusing to interact with any human beings. He resurfaced some time later. (there's some things I still have yet to decide upon in his lore, but that's the main idea.)

He's awkward, shy, and avoidant at times but kind and hard-working. When meeting someone, he's quiet at first until he gets to know them better, at which he becomes more chatty. His expression is usually flat, but under certain circumstances can be more expressive (fear, sadness, joy, etc).

He absoloutely adores animals of all shapes and sizes, particularly marine life. He doesn't have a favorite, though, as there's "too many good ones to choose from".

His favorite food is pasta. It doesn't matter what shape, a good bowl of buttered noodles will always make him happy. (I originally put taiyaki, but I've never had it before.....)
