Okay be honest who just straight up self inserts into Fallout games, like I have my OCs don't get me wrong but my main characters are just self inserts, they're just me deadass.

If you slowly go nonverbal throughout the day, your f/o wouldn't demand you talk or try to force you to say anything. If you can talk through other means like cards, writing, texting, or something else they'll happily respond to you that way. If you can't though, that's fine too and they get it truly.
