Had to quit meds because of insurance nonsense a month or so ago and now i have a new job and its my 3rd week and i am in late stages of burnout. I just want to sleep. But i need job for insurance and money. So i can fix sleepy burnout problem. Sleepy burnout problem that makes working absolute torture.
I am so tired all the time. Like. 3 days this week i was so tired that i thought it would be easier to be dead. Thats how tired.
I guess the lamotrigine and ritalin did kinda help with it because ive had a 2 week streak of tired enough to fall asleep standing up after being off of it for about a month.
And now i remember what life was like without medications. Not that i was doing super well on my meds, i was still having issues with energy nearly every day. But this is a whole other level.
I just need to stay at this job long enough to be able to see some doctors. Maybe someone will figure it out and i can be a functional person. Maybe. Idk. Im so fucking tired
I dont know why people say you get tired after 30. Idk about everyone else but im just as tired as ive always been. I was tired, sleepy, and irritable at 23 and nothing has changed in that regard
Working in a professional field is wild. Like. People are apparently creeped out by things like screamo vocal practice or satanism or swinging.

sorry boss can't come in today i was on my way to work and then a gentle spring breeze kissed my cheek and reminded me it is a serious thing just to be alive on this fresh morning in this broken world
I've said it before and I'll say it again. We need a "This is absolutely NOT mature content" feedback button on posts. You can report a post as missing a community label. We should also be able to report posts as having a comminity label when they dont fucking need one.
Love going from feeling one kind of awful to another kind of awful in the span of 40 minutes
Ants are the pallbearers of the earth
Thiel is Palantir. Musk bought Twitter. Reid Hoffman owns LinkedIn. Zuckerberg has Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp, and now Threads.
Epstein is Russia and Israel.
2016 was first major election with a Russian asset on the ballot and a willingness to cheat.
Cambridge Analytica used harvested data to microtarget voters on Facebook.
Thiel, Hoffman, and Musk are PayPal mafia.
So many things went Trump's way. These guys had a hand in it.
The unwillingness of the media to cover this story is an indictment on corporate ownership.

One of their last Tweets before the account got suspended:
With an update since getting it back:
Unlike other trans-hostile states, Indiana has a database of people who have requested gender marker amendments to their documents.
In a worst-case scenario, trans Hoosiers with documents that donât reflect their sex at birth could be charged with a felony for âcommitting fraud,â earning two and a half years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Key to the Kansas revocation scheme was keeping tabs on transgender people whoâve sought changes to their identity documents.
A database with that information identifies exactly who possesses the documents that the state wants to revoke, clearing the way to do it without a costly and time-consuming manual review of every birth certificate and driverâs license in state and county records.
Indiana, however, has long been compiling lists of trans people in the state based on identity document change requests. One method is straightforward: requests for gender marker changes to both driverâs licenses and birth certificates are flagged in the stateâs records system.
Another is a backdoor method: following passage of a âgender binaryâ bill in Indiana last year, the Department of Health was instructed to forward all trans peopleâs gender amendment requests to the Office of Attorney General Todd Rokita, while the AG âawaits guidanceâ on the new bill, Vaca was told. As those requests accumulate, theyâre added to a database of trans Hoosiers.
Vaca also confirmed that the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles internally flagged gender marker changes when they were still possible.
Should Rokita and the rest of the Republican state leadership decide to follow Kansasâ lead and revoke trans Hoosiersâ identity documents, itâll be as easy as sending a letter to a mailing list already in their possession. Court records indicate the number of altered birth certificates alone is 1,558.
If you're in Indiana, call your fucking reps. It doesn't matter if you're cis or trans, call your fucking reps. If you're trans, get in touch with the Indiana ACLU and offer them whatever information you can about how this would affect you. Ditto Lambda Legal, who are also monitoring situations like these.
Don't let them do in Indiana what they're doing to me and my fellow trans people in Kansas.
And, once again, if you're anywhere else in the country, call and express concern over what's happening in Kansas and what may happen soon in Indiana. Pressure them not to follow suit. Better yet, pressure them to put protections in place for trans people.
Oh man I may have to report annoying coworker. I told partner that AC had given her personal # to one of the peer support guys inside and he said I should bring it to the supervisor. Now, if we were working in a different setting it wouldn't be a big deal given this dude is not a client. However. Since we work in a prison and the peer support guys are incarcerated as well, it's a problem. We literally have 1000 state trainings as vendors in a prison setting specifically telling us NOT to get personal with the guys like that. The reason largely being so that you don't get manipulated into smuggling contraband. And we can't have heat like that come down on the program.
So I guess I'll have to tell my supervisor about this on Monday.
This coworker. She is not going to go far in this field. Addictions treatment is a small world where people wind up knowing a lot of other practitioners in their region. This lady has gone around getting fired from multiple places, doesn't show up on time, talks trash about previous employers, and makes passive-aggressive comments about her coworkers. If we didn't need the bodies she probably would have been let go by now.
She annoys the fuck out of me because she cares way too much what other people think, doesn't listen to clients or take into account how she comes off to them, complains constantly, shows up hours late (she used to work MAT which is a 4:30am-1:00pm schedule and she cant make it in to work at 8:00-8:30am??) and always makes comments when I don't laugh at her jokes--I can't do anything about you not being funny, lady. And now she's making these comments trying to stir up shit between coworkers. Like she's put out about one of our people--who doesn't even work in our office except an hour a day--doesn't hang out with us. This person is my office mate and personally, I like that she's only around for an hour in the afternoon as I enjoy being alone. But seriously. You're going to be shitty about someone doing their job and going home? It's not like this person is rude to anyone, she just works in a different building most of the day. And work is not the place to trash talk. That shit can come back to bite you especially in a small, insular field like this one. You want to vent about coworkers and talk trash, do it on your own time with your friends. Not at the office.
Eowen just being like "nvm about all the glory and battle and my culture lol. I wanna be a delicate lady now and heal things with you faramir~" truly truly painful. I am mentally smacking Tolkien for this one.

Coworker today said "you're lucky you don't have to worry about menopause" and I had such a weird moment where I realized...not everyone on the planet clocks me. And also like. One of those moments where I can't say anything without outing myself.
The worst part so far about working in a rehab program at a prison is the prison. The guys are fine, haven't given me any trouble yet other than the same stuff other people do--standard light ribbing and questioning your ability to help (hot tip for credibility and rapport: give a client a useful skill early on and explain the mechanics behind it--like how breathing exercises serve to decrease our heart rate which in turn helps sooth the emotion)
But yeah. The prison itself is the worst bit because of the environment and the COs and the chronic understaffing which has made it so our program building can't be used and we have to do services in the housing unit which is not a very therapeutic environment to say the least
