In our telling, max would have went back to somewhat normal, probably in horrible condition. Scraggly, bald, had his purple cheeks out all night, major brain trauma and who knows how well that tumor was actually surgically removed.

Obviously next step in there nightmare hell of a night is to rush max to the hospital. One can only imagen the pain and exhaustion of growing into a demon monster 60ft ver of yourself could be on the body and mind.

After wards, max is left feeling not so like himself I more ways than one due to his physical appearance and the fact that he relies more heavily on sam to be taken care of due to the injury to his brain.

Dont get it twisted, max isn't just gonna be at the house 24 7 or anything nor do they quit their detective carriers fully. Instead sam carries max around in a orange bag

Sam usually carries max around town in different comfy bags. Max hides away in them and usually sleeps or tries to. Don't worry, sam makes him get out occasionally to walk or to get some fresh air even though max despises it.

We haven't fleshed out sam Jr that much other than he's like 7 in bug years and loves his mom (sam) and his dad. He is so silly
