April Review Tarot Spread
I just want to start this out with a quick disclaimer just to say that I am new to tarot (having only purchased my first deck in the past few months) and that many of my own notes on the cards are a combination of my own ideas and the card descriptions given within the Wild Unknown tarot guide book.
However, I have been wanting to share some of my experiences with tarot for a while now and I figured why the hell not. I have found it to be an incredible help with dealing with certain challenging situations that have arisen, and with gaining a new perspective on situations which has allowed me to act with more precision and kindness, as well as helping me to gain a little more control over my own mental health.
So, without further adieu, here is my six card April review tarot spread.
I have always loved how tarot can analyse the progress or change in a person or situation; so I decided to focus this review on what had changed since the last monthly review had been done. Once I had worked out an overall question I broke it down into six main sections that I felt were relevant to me at the time:
- Spirit
- Mind
- Relationships
- Personal projects
- Something to keep
- Something to let go of
These were the ideas that I dwelled on while i shuffled, spread and picked my cards. I prefer to place the cards face down when first picking them, then I turn them over and journal about each one in turn so that it isn't quite so overwhelming for somebody who is quite new to the practise.
Spirit: Son of cups
An artist at heart, with a natural tendency towards introspectiveness that can appear both mysterious and peaceful to others; but inside burns a flame of creativity.
Mind: Daughter of wands
This card often represents a woman going through a spiritual journey or breakthrough. A dangerous enemy and much stronger than she appears the daughter of wands is a true free spirit.
Relationships: VIII of wands
The opportunity to travel with a loved one has opened up (may or may not have bought flights to Iceland with my special someone in April), this has changed the quality of the relationship and invites even greater changes in the future.
Personal projects: VII of wands
It is time to be truly courageous, and your greatest strength comes from within, not from others. Now you know your inner fire is fully ablaze it is time to follow it, and to trust it.
Something to keep: Mother of pentacles
Some quality time at home has proved helpful in rediscovering qualities as a healer. But take care not to become overly attached to your home and the sense of comfort it provides.
Something to let go of: II of swords
Stop imagining other forces fighting against you, or you will never progress. You are not in a battle against the world rather battling against yourself; it is time to lay down your weapons and face the truth of matters you have been avoiding.
I hope that if this hasn't been helpful it was at least somewhat entertaining or interesting to read.
I suck at conclusions....
See ya
