      “I bet you don’t have that many friends with that kind of look that you give to people. Do you have friends?”

       "I bet you don't get on people's good side with the nosy         questions. I don't know, do you have any friends?"

      “Don’t you just look friendly and trustworthy.”

        "I'm told it's my welcoming smile."

“Such is the tragedy of fame. There’s nothing wrong with my coins, though – as any other, they’re golden and worth a hundred silvers.” ( he stretched out a hand, closed his fist and opened it again to reveal a couple sovereigns ) “Still, you’re right, there are better victims around here. The last thief who came after me ended up electrocuted, poor sod.”

        [ Arms folded before his chest, the thief observed           with hidden curiosity. The appearance of coin           out of thin air had his eyes narrow briefly before            he gave a light scoff. Magic; always making things           more difficult than they already were. ] "Sounds          liked the last thief who came after you was a          terrible one. I'll have to stick to those whose purses          I can actually cut."

“I like when you smile.”

“No chance this time it seems. Should I apologize for the disappointment I caused? Also, there would be no fun in revealing all of my little shopping secrets – you’re wrong about one thing though, I do have some coins, just not in the purses.”

        "Far as I know, I'm not the first. Big reputations cause big          expectations. Ugh-- I think those coins just lost all their          worth in one second. Good thing there's enough fat geese          with open pockets to go after instead."

  “ Why? Are you planning to kill me? ”

        "I had been planning to rob you. I suggest getting new          things to hide."

     “ What about hiding them under a pillow? It’s easy to find,            but hard to get. ”

        "You're getting there.          Next time, try not to share that thought, though."

     “ That is actually an amazing idea. Perhaps I’ll do that          the next time a rogue will try to kill me. ”

        "I'm sure you'll do great.          Put the shiny things elsewhere while you're at it;          never put those in drawers or chests. Too easy."

  “Ignorance;   how   quaint.   If   in    doubt of item’s value, why take it?”

        "Ignorance, that what we call it now?          I'm perfectly aware it holds value, it'd be a shame if          it got the draconic folk up and going, though."
