The Iron Bull's reports were more difficult to deal with than she would have expected at first. Of course, most to them went to Leliana in the first place, but during Leliana's absence, Josephine had to deal with at least some of those reports - mainly those that pertained to issues that might be of importance to their allies in the future.
She sighed as she leaned back in her beloved, cushioned chair. She was starting to develop a headache. Those blighted Qunari... The translations Bull had provided her with were good, but she continually had the feeling that these reports were not actually saying anything, despite all the words they used.
She needed to talk about this with somebody. But who? Nobody but The Iron Bull himself had any significant experience with Qunari in Skyhold, right? Though, wait...
She called one of her messengers to her. "Go to the battlement and find Messere Hawke," she told the boy. "Tell him I would be very grateful if he could share his opinions on a certain matter with me." The elf boy nodded and instantly ran off. Josephine sighed and put her head down onto her desk. She really needed a vacation.

// aah, I’m reassured to hear you weren’t upset about it! I’m not that fond of the mental illness analogy, i prefer to think it’s the ‘people oppressed/mistreated for smth they can’t help’ general idea that makes mages relatable and not just illness
//Yeah, they're so underdog already they really don't need to be connected to real-life-issues like that imoÂ

// i prefer the x-men analogy too, sorry if I’ve upset you with this, that wasn’t my intention;; I’m not mentally 100% healthy either and when I’ve read that comparaison it just kind of stuck because ugh. my apologies again;;
//Don't you worry! I know a lot of people like the comparison (I think likely because she makes mages relatable or sth? Maybe); it's just that there's a lot of unpleasant connotations with that, and the analogy falls apart very fast when you think about it for a while
You didn't actually upset me though, don't worry! <3Â

At first, he is flying, but it isn’t long before he realizes he is falling. Somehow, he isn’t scared. He is never scared, not anymore. Not with Godric by his—
"God—… Godric?"
Adrenaline hits him harder than the ground. He is bruised, bloody, and broken, but nothing compared to his brother. A torn and burned face stares back at him, lifeless as its tongue lolls. Godric's eyes have swollen and burst, and now all that remains of those clear orbs are bloodied holes. Bones have burst through the skin, he's been starved, he's been--
Garrett tears his gaze away, back up to the sky, but the clouds he would find comfort in are black, and the blue has set on fire. He tries to stand, only to seize in pain, causing yet more damage to his shattered body. He screams with it, calls out for anyone to save him, to take it away, to kill him, to free him from the agony.
All at once, Garrett was awake, gasping as though he had been drowning. He flailed his arms in a wild panic and they were seized in strong hands, familiar hands. His eyes focused: Godric.
"A dream... A dream..." Garrett breathed hard and looked around, taking in the scene. Bodies of the unlucky stable boys who had come to see what all the shouting was about. More would be coming soon. His gaze returned to his brother, brow furrowed with worry, and Garrett offered up a weak smile in return. "Just a dream. Let's go."
