there are shadows in sounds

hi love !! so i do not have a twitter, i sadly find social media to be really exhausting lol so tumblr is it for me. and i know i'm not too active in posting to my blog but i tend to check tumblr liiiike every other day ? just to scroll and see interesting things. so feel free to shoot me messages! and i'll continue to post updates on my writings which yes i'm struggling with lately lol.

...that being said here's a blurb from my current WIP:

Namjoon guided the ancient secondhand sedan off of the main drag onto a more familiar narrow street, aching for the familiar scents of his den. This time of night the whole pack would be home and cozied up together. Maybe it was time for a nest, he idly wondered, unable to remember the last time they had the opportunity, and opened his mouth to mention it to Seokjin when a small black shape hurtled out of a nearby alley and sprawled on the street, directly in the path of his tires.

“Shit!” he shouted, and cut the wheel as he braked, hard, tires squealing as the car skidded to a stop, half on the sidewalk. He could hear Seokjin anxiously shouting his name, voice tinny from the speaker of the cell phone that had fallen to the passenger seat.

He snatched up the phone, said hurriedly, “I’m okay, I’m fine, there was something in the road—” and his words died as the lump of fur twitched and rolled around. A pair of yellow eyes glared up at him in defiance of the headlights.

“Oh my god, hyung,” he breathed into the receiver.

“What?” demanded Seokjin. “Joonie, what is going on—”

“I’ll call you back,” he interrupted hurriedly, and threw the phone aside.

tehe i'm so glad you like that phrase !! it made me giggle as i wrote it actually and i wasn't sure if it would resonate to readers or clash, you know? so yay this makes me happy <3

well isn't this just ADORABLE. feel free to come off anon if ya like ! promise i don't bite and i don't publish all replies. and yes um yes hi hello i've made a surprise appearance lolol hopefully it lasts?? i love tumblr because i can randomly show up and say things and shout into the void and if ppl don't care they can just scroll past me, its marvelous

and um yes that msg absolutely made my night. my stories are honestly my daydreams and about situations/topics i enjoy so it genuinely surprises and delights me when other ppl enjoy them.
