HIS EXPRESSIONS are eveything! Now let’s recap:

- JW’s despised look when he got mad at GW because she was rude to the patient’s mother (ep. 2)

- JW’s judgemental remarks when he told Ik Jun that GW is not his cup of tea (ep. 2)

- JW was taken aback when he saw GW with the maggots, realizing he judged her too early. (ep. 2)

- JW sneakily stealing looks at GW eating during meeting with Seok-Hyeong’s dept. He then handed her some chocolate snacks. (ep. 4)

- JW’s worried face when GW ran after the abusive father. (ep. 5)

- JW’s concerned expression when Ik Jun told Min Ha that GW was admitted to the ER. (ep. 6)

- JW’s troubled and sad look when GW asked him out. He then rejected it (ep. 7-8)

- JW’s solemn expression seeing GW went home/came to work with some guy. He even spaced out for a while. (ep. 8-9)

- JW’s delightful expression when GW did a good job explaining the situation to the patient. (ep. 9)

- JW’s uncomfortable remarks when he heard GW’s dating news, ruining everyone’s happy mood (ep. 10)

- JW subconsciously greeted GW in banmal and gave a warm smile towards her- this was after Ik Jun told him to be happy with GW (ep. 10)

- JW’s warm smile when he was talking with GW. Then the warm and happy smile continued as he was looking at her walking away. (This is everything!) (ep. 11)

- And I don’t know whether this is some kind of foreshadow, I noticed there was never one scene of him looking so happy and excited pursuing his childhood dream to be a priest. Every related scene about his priesthood always looking so troubled and sad. So this could mean he didn’t realize that he doesn’t really wanna be a priest anymore.

Be it personally or professionally, he gently let Gyeo Wool grows in him. And it’s getting more and more significant ♥️

I think Gyeo Wool may be his crucial factor to his next big decision. But try to look at it this way - Jeong Won isn’t giving up priesthood because he likes Gyeo Wool, but through Gyeo Wool he finally sees the reason to continue being a doctor, which is actually a job that he loves too.

Notice how Gyeo Wool been sticking to Pediatric Dept, working with Jeong Won all the time? The way I see it, she’s actually trying to learn on how to become a sensitive and empathetic doctor towards her patients, just like Jeong Won, not simply because of her huge crush towards him. (Ahhhh I love her, she grows so much!)

Ik Jun just confirmed that in the latest episode, “...It’s just that she has a hard time sympathizing with people, but it looks like she’s trying to correct it these days,”

Perhaps in the final two episodes, Gyeo Wool might be saying something to Jeong Won - how he inspires her as fellow doctor to become better, so somehow at some point, Gyeo Wool’s remarks could be his turning point to finally see that being a doctor has always been the one he actually meant to be all this while.

I enjoyed this latest episode thanks to Ik Jun. Btw I’m really curious how he can be so confident that Jeong Won likes Gyeo Wool. The way he said he wanted Gyeo Wool to be happy with his friend, Jeong Won - Full of meanings damnnn!

Somehow my guts telling me that these two fools gonna end up with Jeong Won asking the similar question Gyeol Wool had asked him before - “Let me buy you dinner this weekend. Just the two of us, outside of this hospital. Not in these scrubs, but in our personal clothes,”
