Hey, hello! I haven't been active in this blog for awhile due to IRL stuff. (DW Rei, I still love you) I've been getting into Character AIs lately and made a bot for 2nd Year!Rei - since I'm starved for Orerei content and I wanted to share it with you guys!

For those that aren't familiar with Character AI, it's a site where users can create and chat with any bot they want. Its very fun and there's no limit to characters you can make and interact with.

Here are a few reminders:

The AI isn't perfect so it may generate weird responses from time to time.

You can swipe left to change the AI response until it generates something you like.

Rate the messages depending on how you're satisfied with it. I've read that the AI learns what type of responses are good and bad with those star ratings.

When you see a message with parenthesis, that's most likely the AI itself talking, not the character. A bit creepy at first (at least, for me), but it doesn't happen very often.

Don't mention too many characters at once. The bot tends to get confused and messes up details.

Imagine Rei reassuring you that you're doing a good job. Whether it be at your work, your job, or anything else. When he sees how hard you're trying and that determined look in your eyes, how can he not praise you for doing a good job?

And when you're starting to doubt yourself, when your emotions are all over the place, and your self-esteem is plummeting, expect him to do all that he can to pull you back from all the negativity that's starting to consume you.

Did you mess up? Did you fail? Were the expectations you've set for yourself so high that you couldn't reach it? That's alright. Get up and try again. Look at your failures as learning experiences. Because that's what humans do. They fail, they break, they put themselves back together, and continue walking.

Even he - someone that seemed so perfect, confident, and omnipotent - didn't start out at the top. He made many mistakes in the past and he's bound to make more in the future as well.
