WHY YOU SHOULD CONSIDER USING THE ‘ZELDAPROMO’ TAG:
let’s be real here.
half the time when we post a promo, we spam the tags on said promo with things we think are relevant. we have no actual idea if these tags are actively used or looked at, but in the hopes of gaining SOME kind of traction, you slam that bad boy down and cross your fingers for something.
suddenly you have twenty tags that are all slightly differently spelled ‘tloz rp blog’. ranging from without spaces, removal of the word ‘blog’, etc., etc.
a week later, you gained one follower, have no notes, and said, aforementioned follower is a spambot porn blog.
a consistently used, well-known tag that everyone and their dog can use with absolute ease.
communities thrive best if they are, well, a COMMUNITY.
a common tag that everyone accesses makes it easier for your blog to be known, for your group projects to be discovered, and for YOU to find new blogs to follow!
this is why i want the ‘zeldapromo’ tag to be used in the zelda community.
it isn’t some long amount of jargon you have to type out every time.
it’ll be exclusive to the zelda community and wont be accidentally used by outside communities with a similar tagging system.
it’s easier than spamming the tags of your particular game (like ocarina of time or twilight princess) and not reaching out to other zelda rp blogs
it’ll bring more awareness to those lonely promos and help people find new zelda blogs to follow.
my proposition is as follows:
reblog this post, get traction for the zeldapromo tag, and help the community create a central tags for promos to go to!
let’s make finding one another easier than ever.
