Favourite things about Elita? I'm looking into getting into her character more.
there's so many, but the first word that came to mind was her resilience!! it's a trait that followers her thoughtout every contiuity. she stays true to her causes and beliefs while doing what she believes is right. and what is necessary to keep fighting, to survive, no matter what, she sticks to her ideals, and if that means sacrificing herself for that, than that aswell !! in g1, it's her and her team shield of solus holding up fort on cybertron for millions of years. not having any idea if the other bots are alive, hiding from shockwave and the cons and fighting for a dead planet (with no one knowing about her and sos' existence by the way TALK ABOUT STEALTH.) and how, she was ariel who got shot, and then rebuilt into a war faction leader, immediately having to fight a war (holy identity crisis). she keeps strong throughout it all, no matter what happens she keeps fighting. she will do anything to keep doing that and to keep her team and cybertron alive. she's so brave and i admire her so much im gonna sob omg

i also love that's she's flawed. she isn't perfect and i love that bro. i really want to see more media where elita makes mistakes, flaws are shown etc
she's funny and witty, being present and demanding for what needs to be done. and she's so smart LIKE OUGHHHH <3333 she's so confident and self assured aswell like, nominative determinism went hard with her she really is the elite one. i also love how she's awkward sometimes aswell like my girl my girlllllllllllllllllllllllll <33
^ pairing onto that. you never know her next move, both in the sense that she is incredibly tatical also in the fact that she is Chaotic and a freaking weirdo (i will never shut up about the time she licked garbage so nonchalantly. my girl WHAT)
ALSO TIME POWERS!!! i love her time powers, that detail to her character is so <33 i wish we get to see them again soon. she also have other powers across other continuitues which is fun, i mean idk why they give her new ones instead of continuing with time but lets go the more the merrier (her ability to copy in tfa is so <33 along with that thing that lets her blend in the backgrounds ????? omg ??? icr the media for that but.yeah) i really want to see her time powers again soon tho. like rn. plz
and her entire story, how now matter how it goes, how her stars are aligned. it's always so intriguing to me, she's such a strong and powerful character and her story of going through so much shit and always keeping her head high, (thought i do love seeing her be effected by this type of stuff and it's smth i want more in canon. ik her being a war faction leader doesn't leave much time for being effected by stuff, but still.) and also seeing how different things in it connect and that then lead to the version of her we see or watching her development and arc through out. i'm not sure the words i'm looking for are but i hope what i mean comes across, it's just always so <33. she was immediately so !!!! to me when i first found out about her because her story is JUST SO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. and watching how it fits with her, her actions and personality and what leads to what, in both her story and also the grandscheme of stuff. i'm repeating myself in the first paragraph here a bit here but it's one of my favorite things ever, seeing her and seeing her being so fucking resilient and so incredibly devoted to what she believes in and her cause, fighting stronger and stronger. AND ALSO TIME POWERS 🗣🗣🗣 i love how she stands her ground, and keeping it level aswell. firm but not in a way that comes of overbearing/constrictive ??? idk if that's the right word/phrase and do correct me if im wrong but yall know what i mean right ???? like we see it in g1, tfone, es, basically every iteration
^ and kinda going off from that. like she is so tragic in multiple ways across different continuities and i love that. i love tragic characters so this tragedy while it pisses me off and has is bleh 👎👎 things i would really rather not exist (not gonna rant on here this post is about love <3 and while love does include rants and grievances, especially when it puts a character in a shadow i despise, i still wanna maybe leave that to another post) i still like that nuance to her, especially in g1. her having time powers and having that risk of dying from them is so very interesting. and again, going into her resilience and character, and how despite being this tragic, she still fights and is, so, incredibly selfless and this is awe-inspiring to me. her entire story, and while it changes through out continuities: parts stay. and i love that so much. she's so interesting
(her dying so many times pisses me off tho like. can she catch a break ik it's like mandatory /j for her to like die but like. can we not) (<- but also it's so good i like my heart being broken)
ALSO IN ES SHE USES HER WHEELS AS HEELIES. SHE HAS BUILT IN HEELIES she also so. bug. (honestly i'd say es elita is my favorite iteration. she's the main one i got introduced to first so maybe there's some bias but yippee)
HER DESIGNS ARE ALWAYS SO PEAK she doesn't have a bad design imo (i should make a design ranking post lwk..would anyone be interested in that)
^ and like going on from that, her color schemes are so beautiful omg. like, im completely biased to red/orange leaning elita (it reminds me of a sunset 😭) but even the ones the lean more purple. every is so nice and goes so well together
AND HER FIGHTING SKILLS HOLY SHIT holy aura bro like yeah, ofc she's skilled and is the warrior EVERRR but STILL HOLY SHIT SHE'S SO COOL. she also knows circuit sue in one continuity iirc like omg AND ALSO TFONE. like the entirety of her fights in tfone. she's so badass. i think about her vs the trackers so. often. and in g1 her fighting against the cons OH MY GOD literally insane i love her some of the coolest scenes ever, same as in earthspark like 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 her being one of the main opening scenes and with such an awesome one that showcases her so. very well at that. yeah sheesh no wonder she had me in a chokehold pretty much over night
she's an amazing leader, everytime i rewatch her g1 episode it's just so, <3 i really wish we got to see more of that. we have crumbs and she so deserves that spotlight, i would KILL for an elita solo show that shows her g1 self more with her leading her team, time powers, everything. it'd be so cool and what she deserves (while she's been featured in things lately, she's kinda been getting done dirty in some which ughhhhh)
i love seeing her interact with other bots aswell, she's so kind and has such a fun personality and demeanor. i love how she is in like tfone, cyberworld, g1, literally everywhere, her dynamics and friendships with her team and her friends are so <33 tbh it feels like a true testament to her, she cares so much and honestly, is the best imo. she brings so much and so many bots together, it truly wouldn't be the same without her ogmgogmggogm😭😭😭
also i may be biased but i think she has some of the best alt modes ever like her roster includes BOATS, JETS, MULTIPLE COOL ASS VEHICLES AND BIKES a spider technically are we couning that as elita i still dont know

incould post so many screenshots of her being so freakijg adorable across so many different shows/movies
she is so animal coded. like mostly cat, especially cat in personality. but also bug owl goat bunny and there's probably more (her design where she looks like an owl is SO OHOHOHOHOH IT'S SO PEAK)
her and her relationship with earth!! like in earthspark when it was said she stuggled with an earth alt mode and, at least imo my pov, it kinda hinted at other stuff regarding her and arriving to/getting stuck on earth possibly ??? (i.e her immediately opting to stay in cybertron. that's so <333 to me) it's so interesting to me and i SO wish we could've seen more of that and also skybound's take on elita and earth. but skybound is so ass lately i dont wanna talk about that ijbol
^ i will forever stand by and love her prefering cybertron over earth. that's her home. i love that in earthspark she opted to stay
also, she has no definitive way to spell her name. she's representation of us who can never find our name on things because they're rare or the spelling. LIKE EVEN WITH ARIEL THERE'S MULTIPLE SPELLINGSSKEJGBSFKGBFGB
