Frankly, I don't think pansexuallity is a thing either, but I find it funny how the mogai community first said pansexuallity, then came up with an entirely new term for the same thing. All of this while acting like they're superior to bisexuals for some reason.

I'm a psychiatry student (I'm halfway through residency, therefore I am not considered an actual psychiatrist in every situation)

I do therapy sessions, but it's considered medical consultation not counselling. Same goes for most psychiatrists.

The idea is that what happens or what is said during a consultation stays in the consultation room. Therefore you should share as much as you can with your psychiatrist because it will help you both.

(PLEASE TELL YOUR PSYCHIATRIST ABOUT ALLERGIES WHEN THEY DECIDE THE TREATMENT PLAN. )

Also if your psychiatrist makes you uncomfortable or unsafe it's ok to switch.

Self harm and a list of mental illness... next to edgy, dark, emo ... it's terrible and I really don't have to explain why...

Also if you're otherkin PLEASE don't self diagnose, please see a specialist if you think you may have mental health problems, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE SELF HARMING TENDENCIES

Posts like this, that treat self harm and mental illnesses like something edgy and emo, shouldn't appear in a community that mainly consists of more or less stable people who are trying to cope with some form of stress
