Anyone know my pain?
save, close the game and rejoin? I sadly lost my acnh game card a few months ago (my villagers are gonna be overjoyed when i get back) but i think saving and closing the game, then opening it again should remove the villager
Yeah, it will, but it's still a pain having to do that, and I'm impatient! I recently found out that if you run against the villager for a few seconds they will actually get up and move. Another method of moving them is to whip out the handheld camera and point it at them. They'll stop doing whatever they're doing to wave at the camera, and then you can quickly push them out of the way. (The first method works best, but sometimes you can't do it because they picked an awkward spot to stand in the way, eg between two objects, so method 2 is a good alternative.)
Sorry to hear about your game, that sucks. I hope you find it soon. If not and you end up starting again, you'll find plenty of people willing to give you a boost by sharing some fruit and flowers and so on.
