  Anita’s voice drops a little lower, a little quieter when Loba places her hand on her arm. Under the moon and the stars, they have a moment alone, away from prying eyes and eavesdropping minds. The chaos of it all doesn’t leave them room for much else. 

  The flirting’s always been obvious enough - it’s Loba’s thing, though admittedly, the passing banter has often left Anita wanting more, but never quite getting a chance to act. Even in the low light, whiskey eyes find honey. Something tempting, something dangerous remains lying in wait.

   Act now or forever hold your peace, ‘Nita.

  Boldly, she stands impossibly closer, without yet touching before raising a single hand that takes Loba by the chin, with the pad of her thumb just grazing her lower lip. She’s all nerves before she speaks - weak in the knees and all.

The quick retort hails from Sergeant First Class Williams without missing a beat, keeping her eyes on the weapons bench before her, and that beauty of a G7 rifle in pieces before her, rather than Kairi herself - though she does tempt a side glance out of the corner of her eye. 

  “Nah, I’m just sayin’. Pilot cert doesn’t come easy. It’s a skill I appreciate, Imahara,” Anita follows up, though her tell slips through with that small smile as she decides to turn to face the other woman with her hip leant against the bench, arms folded across her chest. Freckles dot bare shoulders, as dog tags hang below the line of her tank top. And maybe, just maybe her eyes wander.

  Calloused, scarred hands find their way to grasp Anita’s jawline - her own upon their hips - and the ask, both gentle yet an order, follows suit.

 Just kiss me.

It’s one she follows so, so willingly. 

She'd been getting progressively friendly with Anita, which is saying a lot since she's friendly and outgoing with everyone (much to Revenant's annoyance). However, spending time with Anita is different because she's different. Spending time with Anita does funny little things to her heart. Things she's been trying to ignore because she knows she doesn't belong here, in this time period. Falling in love here would only lead to hard break. Her emotions are as wild and uncontrollable as ever, and it is through the slip of the lip she accidentally flirts with Anita. "Oh, I was, umm..." she replies, her cheeks gaining a faint, pink hue. "Don't mind me. I was just tryin' to make conversation." Whether Anita would buy such a lie is something only time will tell.
