Bloodhound tilts their head curiously to the side as the spot, across from their space on the dropship, Horizon looking towards them. They had noticed her looking sooner in fact but hadn’t bothered to look up until now, engrossed in making sure their knives are properly sharpened for the upcoming match. When she spots that she now has their attention she smiles and waves for them to come over.

They don’t move immediately, lightly frowning behind their mask as they consider her. The curiosity that wells up inside of them eventually propels them to their feet and Artur flutters from her perch to their shoulder as they pick their way across the dropship floor. Muttering an apology to Gibraltar whom they almost knock into before coming to a stop in front of Dr. Somers.

She'd been getting progressively friendly with Anita, which is saying a lot since she's friendly and outgoing with everyone (much to Revenant's annoyance). However, spending time with Anita is different because she's different. Spending time with Anita does funny little things to her heart. Things she's been trying to ignore because she knows she doesn't belong here, in this time period. Falling in love here would only lead to hard break. Her emotions are as wild and uncontrollable as ever, and it is through the slip of the lip she accidentally flirts with Anita. "Oh, I was, umm..." she replies, her cheeks gaining a faint, pink hue. "Don't mind me. I was just tryin' to make conversation." Whether Anita would buy such a lie is something only time will tell.

“Ugh...dammit..” her words were followed by a groan of pain as she leaned against the doctor. Despite her efforts to support her own weight, the pain was making it hard for her to walk alongside the other woman. Taking a nasty fall during some time in the firing range wasn’t exactly how she pictured herself getting injured in the games. Though truly, the fact she was wearing high heels didn’t help. Of course, nothing could stop a girl from looking her best, not even an injury.

“Thank you for your help- mf!” She winced in pain as she continued to walk as best she could.

Sometimes the ghosts of the past are difficult to shake loose and they have drawn closer to Hound in recent days, hovering over theirs shoulder and whispering in their ear. Normally they are good at moving on with their day but it’s been... difficult to say the least. They aren’t even aware that the tension they feel is noticable, not even as Horizon stops them in the hall and they stand there, staring at her smiling face.... and the goggles that sit perched perfectly on top of her brillantly red hair.

"I suppose that's true..." she replies, attempting to agree with her. Her voice is unusually soft and quiet, like she's struggling to actually believe what she's saying. Shifting to sit with both knees pulled up, she hugs her own knees as she continues to speak. "But some of us have secrets bigger than others. I shouldn't be tellin' you this, but..." she's desperate to tell someone. She's desperate to not feel alone, to stop feeling like she's holding up the weight of the world on her shoulders. "I figured it out -- how to get back home. But what I have yet to determine is how time travel would impact the universe. I want to see Newt but also want you to be safe." She sniffles then and turn her head, hoping to hide just how close she is to crying. "I have so many friends here... So many friends I could harm if I don't figure this out."
