I was very confused by this concept because I ended up watching a few episodes with her and saw no evidence of a “Pride Month Barba marathon.”

Anyway, after some little googling I came to the conclusion that Barba is not (canonically gay) but his sexuality has never been explicitly confirmed with any label.

Anyway cut to a few hours later, I’m getting ready to turn off the TV switching from streaming to regular television and I’m caught off guard by Barba wrapping a belt around his neck and forcing a defendant to “show him how hard he really likes it.” (Basically to goad the perp into proving to the jury he did in fact do the crime)
