The most common argument I hear is, “Look, my parents spanked me and I turned out fine.” Stolen from elsewhere on the internet but now my defult response:  “No you didn’t–you think it is okay to hit little kids.”

Also we’re at the point where most people who are having children are Millennials and yet conservatives still treat us like we’re still college freshmen. They claim to love mothers and families but they treat nearly all mothers as too naive and sheltered to make our own decisions much less those of children and that’s honestly very fucked up.

So this above just explained everything I have been feeling since 26 but am ESPECIALLY feeling now, as I just moved and had to go through all my shit with the running thought of “this looks more like a college kid’s stuff for their first apartment and I’m a 30 y/o adult now, I should probably get rid of this even though I don’t feel like I’m NEARLY that old….”
