“I tried to be funny and break a silence, and started a war. Maybe next year we should invite Louise so I can bring up Oscars amazingly Barrow looks for a Jones.” She sighed.

He wrapped his arm around his little sister, giving her a half hug “You didn’t start anything. He’s not someone I want in my life anymore. I invited him so he could see how much we don’t need him anymore. There’s no easy way to do that.”

She hugged him back. “Just us okay? You, me, Oscar and by extension Ginger Bambi, and the twins. Sibling bond forever okay?”

“If you want Thomas to still be in your life, Pea, that’s fine. I’m not gonna tell you to stop talking to him if that’s not what you want, that’d be unfair to make you pick sides. I just can’t have him in my life.”
