What the future holds for me

Like there's so much there. They criticize people for having weird kinks, especially if it's something like age play or diaper stuff (both of which are done with CONSENTING ADULTS involved). They insult people for being fat, often calling them morbidly obese and disgusting if they're slightly over conventional skinniness. They treat people like shit for every little non-conventional thing all for the fact that they're "the bad guy" so to speak.

That person isn't a bad person because he has a sneezing fetish and happens to be fat, he's a bad person because he's 32 and got a 14 year old to send him nudes.

That artist isn't a bad person because they post risque porn or suggestive work, or draw their characters with unrealistic proportions, or they're a furry. That artist is a bad person because they're a racist who openly talks about how much they hate black people.

On one paw, it's amazing. It makes me actually sort of like looking at my face and looks even better with my hair down!

On another paw, I've been socialized into seeing my facial hair as something to be ashamed of and hate. I look at my patchy beard and I think: I'm not supposed to have this.

On a third paw I'm constantly scared someone will say something about it and I don't live in an accepting area.

Why are teens not communicating with their alien friends and complaining about timezones because Earth has a shorter day than Dellia Prime and their Earth friend Jordan has to go to bed? Why is there not intergalactic tiktok where they're posting some wacky shit and cosplaying as superheroes and Tumblr sexyman from other planet's media? Why is there not Tumblr?

Why are there not new movies for people who don't want to use holodecks? Why are there not new animated shows and movies?

I'm terrified of becoming like that. I'm terrified of the idea that one day my house will look like that. I'm not going to deny that I'm starting to get there, I had to rearrange my room and throw things out the other day because the clutter was pissing me off.

But I still. Hold on to things I shouldn't. I call myself a collector because it's easier than calling myself a hoarder. My mum even pointed it out to me earlier when I had mentioned not wanting to throw away a broken travel jewelry case because my nana gave it to me. She was a hoarder.
