2. What movie have you watched most recently? What did you think of it?

I just watched Kpop Demon Hunters last night, it was very very cute and well-animated. It was pretty much what I expected from a kid's movie story-wise, but the visuals were excellent and the songs are, unfortunately, extremely catchy.

5. What's your drink of choice? What's your favourite cake/baked good?

I am a FIEND for apple cider, whether there's alcohol in it or not. As for baked goods, banana bread comes to first? Honestly any kind of tasty bread. Cinnamon bread, Challah bread, Brioche....

I love learning things, so here's the Chinese popcorn cannon, which I also discovered recently (and will be buying immediately). It works by heating the kernels under pressure, hence the BOOM and explosive popping. 16. what's a piece of advice you would give to yourself five years ago?

-I was sent the Magic Smoke article on Wikipedia a day or two ago, and despite building my own computer and having soldering experience, I hadn't heard of it before. It gave me a hell of a chuckle - for those that don't have time to read the page:

Magic smoke (also factory smoke, blue smoke, or the genie) is a humorous name for the caustic smoke produced by severe electrical over-stress of electronic circuits or components, causing overheating and an accompanying release of smoke.

16. what's a piece of advice you would give to yourself five years ago?

Stress less and focus on yourself more. Spend time refining the person you wanna be into a sharp point, but stop assuming the worst of everyone as well. Grind but stay kind. Don't move into that nice looking duplex in Pasadena, and don't bother going on dates no matter how nice those guys seem. Take as much from the west coast as you can, before it takes whatever it can from you.

I cleaned my whole house! And I bought a bag of favourite pretzels. I also want to make some decent headway on a new sculpture for work, which I'll do after I'm done with all my asks. 8. favorite month of the year and why?

11. what kind of music is stuck in your head a lot lately? Regrettably, the song that's currently been stuck in my head is Closer by Ne-Yo, mostly because of that damn dancing meme I keep seeing from Instagram.

Haha so tumblr decided not to notify me of any of my asks, for some reason? Sorry for answering these so late! -So my blog title is the null sign, ∅. I think at the time I chose it I was being ironic, because it's meant to denote the single mathematical set that is empty. There's over a decade of use put into this blog though - I used to think of myself as terribly clever, unfortunately. -Favourite time of day is probably between 9am-11am. It's not too far into the day, while also not being so early I'm exhausted when I wake up. I'm a consummate night owl, funnily enough, so although mid-morning is my favourite, I don't see it much.
