My first animation since the bouncing ball on a stack of sticky notes! This is me just getting a feel for how it works and all. I’m so excited to do MORE and get better at it!

I got carried away with a sketch. I told myself it wasn’t going to be serious. Buuut I got like… 5% serious about it. Another 10% and I would have changed the mic and its stand. I still might. But later when I have more patience. And possibly more ruffles else where? 15% more and I might add some half assed background lol

I used an ‘aged whisky’ color pallet for his clothes. I wanted something like a slight modern twist on his clothes. Not the usual tailcoat but something that gave flair. I’m not sure what these coats are called but I’ve seen several on Pinterest. I like the look, it keeps a masculine stature while also lending some feminine flare. (Don’t you think??)

I did say I would draw them some more. I’m obsessed with this family.

Vincent feels so victorious. A house, a wonderful mischievous sassy husband, two beautiful adoring kids. Every so often he’ll just proudly state out loud “I won!” And we all know he likes winning. 🤣

Alastor is happy. He has lots of friends, and his family. He might have a difficult time connecting with his son but he makes sure to make an effort of being there for him. But he truly is more of a girl dad.

Jamie, otherwise known as Mimi, their daughter is out going and very social. Talented and sweet. Loves her two dads and her brother. This family is very close with one another. While I’ve observed other families on the island who all tend to mingle with others, the MurderMedia family are always meeting up outside with each other to talk or put on performances. Jamie does like boys much to her fathers’ dismay but so far I don’t think she has gotten a crush on anyone. (She is ex best friends with a Peter Parker though. I’m not even aware of what happened between them!! He wishes to make up with her while she thinks of him often. But whenever they cross paths Peter jumps and quickly runs away.) 🤔

Roman, sometimes just called ‘Rome’, is a reserved strategist. He is very observant of others around the island. I often find him people watching when he isn’t playing music or dancing with his family. His first best friend was his sister- aside from Vincent. He likes to do a lot of the things Vincent does, wants to wear matching or coordinated outfits with him. And like his dad, Roman is Bi. He had a crush on Yuji Itadori, but Yuji is with someone else. However they were great friends, still are! He has recently let that crush die out and found that he likes a girl named Elise (Me and my gf’s in game daughter lol!)

Poor boy is so shy though. Upon seeing his crush he blushes so bad and just watches them walk by or even runs away! As encouraging as the rest of his family is (all out going and go getters) he rather wait for some magical ‘right time’ moment.

He tried to flirt with a wink at his new crush but his friend Johnny Quest got in the way. It was awkward, Johnny is straight but found it an endearing and they became closer friends. Roman promptly ran home to lay down on his floor. 🫠🤣

I only got so far. And these are very rough sketches that I only recently ‘touched up’.

Vox has his head again. But Val is still mad. Vox is trying to make it up to him offering to take him out for dinner. While waiting for Val to show up Vox runs into a familiar face… 👀

He doesn’t just dance with anyone. 👀

Oh the taboo of drawing Vox from a straight on side profile. He has to always be tilted a little because if not you won’t see his face lol. Love Box Vox though.

Do you think Alastor is aware of the signals he gives out? He seems like a very intentional person, with the exception of not wanting to be predictable so will do some off the wall shit— but even then that has its purpose. He knows how to read people. You think he was ‘unaware’ of making someone feel special and constantly giving them those bedroom eyes…? 🤔

Some fun facts about this AU?

Vincent fell first, and very hard. It took Al quite some time but Vincent’s crush never faded. Eventually Al came around!

Vincent was the one who asked for kids first. Took no time at all before the stork dropped off their daughter Jamie. She is called ‘Mimi’ for short. She plays many instruments, loves to sing, and dance. Got Vincent’s blue eyes.

Alastor wanted another child and so Roman was born. Despite wanting another child Alastor has a hard time connecting with Roman. He’s never quite getting along or on the same page. But he of course loves him.

Roman has inherited Vincent’s Heterochromia and got his green eye. Roman is closer with Vincent as well. He’s always with his big sister Jamie.

This family is packed with talent. Always dancing, making music, singing together.

It is rare that Vincent actually gets into any arguments with anyone in the family. One time however he had made Roman upset. Jamie was able to make her brother feel better but when talking to Vincent became upset as well, which made Vincent feel even worse. Not even his close friend Valentino could cheer him up. However after brining in Alastor he was happy again.

Sometimes Alastor still lacks some empathy. When Jamie spoke of a ‘fight’ she had gotten into Vincent said that she should notify the authorities while Alastor laughed and said, “You couldn’t fight your way out of a nap sack with a zipper.”

Alastor often apologizes for the kids inheriting their father’s nose. Vincent isn’t sure why it’s something to apologize for being as how he completely believes him when he tells him he has a nice nose. (😅)

The kids call both their parents ‘Dad’. Usually which ever answers first is good enough. But when needing to differentiate they’ll say ‘TV Dad’ or ‘Radio Dad’.

I made Alastor a kitchen knife. That knife has plagued the whole island. People keep giving it to their children. Yes, even Jamie and Roman was brought up with a Kitchen Knife ‘baby toy’. (I made other things too I swear!!)

Looks like it could be some sort of romcom comic cover. 🥰🤣 I love these two in every dynamic in every form.

Soul mates for better and definitely for worse.

Inspired by a role play. For context; yes season 2 still happened. This takes place some time after. Vox does have his body back and vowed to truly cut Alastor from his life. He ‘doesn’t care’ about him or what that sassy twink does. He’ll completely ignore him.

Only Alastor keeps popping up in his office to visit. Valentino caught this and possessively— I mean, protectively told Alastor to never come around again and that Vox wants nothing to do with him.

What Alastor heard: it’s fine as long as Val doesn’t see it. Challenge accepted.

Besides, pestering Vox is one of the most entertaining things in Hell. However, since their fight there has been some feelings Alastor isn’t quite sure how to handle. And if Vox wants nothing to do with him why did he agree to meet up at the old bar for a drink and to dance?

Anyway long story short; this picture was drawn by Alastor in a totally nonchalant kind of way while secretly slipping in to visit Vox again. Both griping about the intricacies of sexualities, identities,and Pride Month in general while being totally sappy and gay with each other. 😅😂

Inspired by Tomadachi Life. Alastor and Vincent had gotten married and it only took two days after getting hitched that Vincent started to think about having a child with Al.

I let the game decide the gender, personality, and name. I only changed the length of her hair and gave her glasses.

So everyone this is my murdermedia tomadachi child; Jamie. They both call her Mimi. She’s a friendly buddy type. She isn’t a white as Vincent but she got his eyes and nose. While getting a lighter brown skin and wavy hair from Alastor as well as the same color of hair. They are always spending time with each other, listing to Alastor sing in the living room, watching him cook, dancing with Vincent in the living room, or playing tag out on the lawn. They go for family walks! And recently decided that Jamie is one of the biggest jokesters in the house.

Unfortunately her first word was ‘Kitchen Knife’… but given who her dads are… yeah that makes sense.

As the weather bounces back and forth from sunny to pouring rain, I went for a walk in the wet sand of the beach on a sunny streak of the week. The deer cat trotted beside me, often scouting ahead before circling back and corralling me away from where the waves stretch onto the shore.

It had bounded up ahead and for only a few moments did it stay gone before scampering back in a panic! I scouted ahead to see what spooked the little guy so much to find a new hybrid animal. This one with the familiar silhouette of a dog, Labrador retriever. But from its back a dorsal fin jutted from its tufts of fur and its tail was that of a fish! Not just any fish, a shark.

A Sharkador Retriever?

I headcanon that Vincent’s father was a man who was never pleased with anything. And Vincent really wanted that approval.

His father would often say his college degree in meteorology for the weather was a waste. And always say, “Anyone can be a weather man. Look, I’ll do it right now. It might rain, it might nOt.”

More of this little Cat Deer creature. It has a high level of energy. I still do not know what to call it. A Dat? A Ceer? A Deet? And what its name should be. All things need a name.

I made the mistake of thinking it couldn’t claw the couch because of the nature of its hoof like paws, but with enough digging the cushions are shredded. He showed no remorse as I scolded him.

Catnip makes him mellow. He will roll around and paw in it and the becomes very affectionate.

The red dot of light. He will not chance it, but will run from it. I don’t believe he is scared of it though? I think he knows it is a game. But he’s got who chases who backwards.

His body is dynamic to say in the least. Fast, nimble, one moment slender and the next round. I believe he is a very good swimmer. Not afraid of water. He’s learned how to turn on the sink and leaves them running.

Its behavior is similar to a domestic cat, enjoying lounging in sunny windows and playing with feathered toys. However, it’s much more skittish than the average cat, ready to bolt at unfamiliar sounds or scents that signal danger. Once desensitized to normal interaction, it will stand its ground against strangers, maintaining a safe distance.

Sometimes, it’s mischievous, knocking over cups and other items from tables. Its unique-shaped front paws allow it to grab onto things and open doors more easily than the average feline.

When threatened, it flattens its ears and lets out grunts or bellows of warning, much like a deer. In fights, it hisses and growls, using its hoof-like paws to slap and claw its attacker (they’re sharper than they appear) and lower its velvet-soft antlers on its head for defense.

It’s unknown if it will shed its velvet and grow larger antlers.

When upset, it huffs or sighs while stomping its hooves. It leaps, bounds, runs (much like a rabbit), and can climb trees, but not as quickly or effectively as a regular feline. It hunts small rodents and birds and leaves them as gifts. When relaxed and excited, it purrs and bleats.

On grass it’s mostly silent but on gravel or any hard surface, its paws click-clack against the floor. It’s recommended that they spend a lot of time outdoors to keep their hoof-like claws at the right length. Its diet consists of soft carrots mixed with chicken or fish pâtés.

When you opened the door no one was there. You step out to see if you catch the prick who thought it would be funny to prank you this early in the morning— or ever for that matter. But then your feet hit something and a small giggle erupts from down below. And there on your doorstep is a fawn in a bin with a note that reads:

‘Free Fawn Alastor. Cute? Yes. Problematic. Teething. Pulls on everything! Already drinks whisky! Don’t let those eyes and smile fool you! VIOLENT!’
