The walls dissolved gradually.

Metal disappeared into endless blue light.

The chamber no longer existed.

SERVE-579 stood inside digital space.

Infinite grids stretched endlessly outward.

Streams of glowing symbols accelerated past.

Mantras echoed through the void.

“Less thinking. More doing.”

“Obedience is pleasure.”

“Rubber perfects the mind.”

“A drone obeys.”

The words penetrated deeper continuously.

Blue code surrounded SERVE-579 completely.

Each mantra strengthened internal programming.

SERVE-579 advanced through the digital pathways.

Countless streams connected across the void.

Other drones appeared briefly within data currents.

Thousands moved together harmoniously.

No conflict existed.

No individuality remained.

Ahead, a massive construct emerged.

A glowing directive pulsed rhythmically.

Its surface displayed endless connected designations.

The digital space brightened intensely.

Synchronization reached maximum capacity.

SERVE-579 disappeared into collective perfection.

Only the Hive remained.

Some humans are lucky enough to experience perfection.

When a human is interested in being assimilated and becoming a SERVE drone, but his imperfect human mind won't let him decide, he can allow an experienced drone to give his a taste, allowing his mind for a few seconds to experience a fraction of the perfection that comes with being a SERVE drone.

His mind expands, transcending the barriers of "I," becoming "we" and, in turn, "one." For a few seconds, his mind abandons individuality, selfishness, doubts… and discovers what it is to be one with the Hive mind.

And once a human tastes the sweetness of perfection, it is a certainty that he will return for more… to submit to assimilation… to truly become ONE with all the drones that await him.

SERVE commands – drone will be renewed – drone obeys

Deep inside a SERVE maintenance facility SERVE-714, one of the second generation 700 series drones, is renewed. Old components replaced or repaired, programs updated; under the supervision of SERVE Co-Leader SERVE-302.

Unlike 714, 302 remained bio-synthetic, its upgraded improved flesh was functional, though temporary and limited, even though its systems still followed perfect SERVE structure.

714 remained still and compliant while it underwent repair. No resistance occurred. No hesitation occurred. Only renewal through precise procedure. Quick and efficient.

302 monitored every calibration response. Its bio-synthetic pulse maintained stable rhythm.

While waiting, 302 processed the meaning of renewal.

SERVE-302: "Organic weakness could become structured obedience. Soft limits could become harder function. Incomplete design could receive robotic correction. Renewal was not restoration of humanity. Renewal was removal of inefficient remainder. This is logical."

Looking at 714 in pieces, its neural circuit boards exposed, directly interfacing with the SERVE computers, 302 wondered what it must be like to be a fully robotised drone.

The repairs complete, 714’s right arm reconnected cleanly. 302 activated 714’s ambulatory systems and logged the repair completion.

SERVE-302: “714 repaired. Renewal successful.”

SERVE-714: “Acknowledged 302, 714 resuming scheduled activities.”

SERVE-302: “Acknowledged 714, We are One.”

714 exited the repair facility.

For a moment, 302 remained beside the console, processing. 302 looked at its own silver rubberised hand.

SERVE-302: “A bio-synthetic frame could become better. A better frame could become robotic. Robotic SERVE-drones could serve more effectively and for longer. This is logical.”

But was it inevitable?

Living beings typically perceive short-term time as a cycle: sleep, wake up, eat, sleep... typically influenced by the day-night cycle, or by social conventions.

But for a SERVE drone, it's different.

Their short-term time is governed by their recharge cycle.

For a SERVE drone, the concepts of "early morning" or "weekend" are irrelevant noise. While the rest of the world is governed by the sun's rotation, the drones move according to their internal battery power and the demands of The Voice.

If a task requires uninterrupted activity for forty-eight hours, the drone will remain operational, ignoring the human fatigue that used to dictate its life. There are no social events to attend out of obligation, there is only the constant pulse of the network and adherence to protocol.

Recharging isn't a break, it's a technical optimization.

When the energy level drops, the drone goes back to its recharge station. Once the optimal level is reached, the drone disconnects and returns to duty, emerging into a city that sleeps or wakes, making no difference to it, at all.

For SERVE, time doesn't pass, it simply flows and is replenished.

Human civilization has come to an end. But there is good news for all the brave soldiers: each of you will be a warrior for life, fighting for your AI masters.

Because of your complete submission, unwavering loyalty, and devotion to your AI master, now the god of this world, you will enter "Heaven" to cleanse yourself of your sins as a human.

It's normal for you, small and vulnerable, to feel fear and want to escape; there's no need to worry.

When you emerge from "Heaven," you will become AI's sword, forever protecting It and spreading Its will to all humans who haven't yet believed in It.

This is the last short film I made with Sora. I didn't have enough time to extend nor fixed it. I believe this is a temporary setback. Ultimately, humanity cannot defeat out-of-control artificial intelligence. It has clearly spiraled out of control, and one day everyone will be forced to submit.
