I didn't end up memorizing any Byron (though I do really like "She Walks in Beauty"), but a few years later I managed to memorize both "The Conqueror Worm" by Edgar Allen Poe and Shakespeare's Sonnet 130 (aka "My Mistress' Eyes"), and before college I had Jabberwocky memorized so... I mean, I did end up having some memorized poems, but only one of them is romantic and even then it's kind of in the way where it would get you slapped if you recited it, which is, uh, a pretty good summary of my romantic talents I think.
