You’ve been on the run and in hiding with Bucky in Bucharest, Romania for two years. You and Bucky are at the market getting a few groceries when you two sensed that something was off. You two weren’t sure what it was, but it could also just be a feeling. As you and Bucky were about to leave the market, a vendor employee made eye contact with you for a few seconds before running away from the vendor stand. You and Bucky walked across the street to the vendor stand and looked at the newspaper that’s on the counter. Yours and Bucky’s hearts sank when you two saw the front page of the newspaper. It was you. You were being framed for something. You don’t know how you could possibly be framed for something when you were with Bucky this whole time. You looked up at Bucky with the look of fear in your eyes.

“Everything is going to be ok, doll.” Bucky softly assures.

Bucky protectively wraps his arm around you and you two made yours and his way home. Your brother was in yours and Bucky’s apartment when you two got home. Steve turns around when he felt a presence a few feet away from him. He felt relieved to see that you and Bucky are alive.

“Do you remember me?” Steve asks you.

“You’re Steve. I read about you in the museum.” You say.

“Y/N, I’m your brother, remember? You’re a year younger than me.” He says softly.

Due to how fuzzy your mind is, it took you a moment to remember that Steve is your brother.

“Stevie.” You said.

That made Steve smile. He never thought he’d hear you call him that nickname again.

“You’re here to turn me in for something I didn’t do, aren’t you?” You say, your voice shaky.

“I’m here to protect you. I know you’re innocent. I’m not going to let anything happen to you.” Steve says.

You let out a shaky breath. Bucky’s hand gave your hand a comforting squeeze.

“You guys know how this is going to end, right?” You say.

“It’s going to end with us protecting you.” Bucky says.

“No, it’s not. It’s going to end with me behind bars for something I didn’t do.” You say.

“No, it’s not. We’re not going to let that happen.” Steve says.

All three of you were put on high alert when a grenade was thrown through the window. Steve put his shield over it to protect the three of you from the explosion of it. The door was busted down with a battering ram and cops entered yours and Bucky’s apartment. Bucky knocked out one of the cops by slamming his head into the wall when one of them tried to grab you.

“Run!” Bucky and Steve say to you.

You nodded and ran out of the apartment. You fought anyone who got in your way. Bucky and Steve weren’t too far behind you. You ran as fast as your legs would let you. The Super Soldier serum gave you an advantage. You ran throw a hallway of the apartment complex and jumped over to the building next door, landing on the roof.

“I see your sister.” Sam informs Steve.

“Keep an eye on her please.” Steve says.

“On it, Cap.” Sam says.

You got knocked down by T’Challa who’s dressed in his Black Panther uniform. You stood up and got into a fighting position. You saw his claws come out. There’s no doubt that you’re going to walk away with some scratches from his claws. To avoid that from happening, you dodged him the best you could. You got knocked down by him again. You grabbed both of his wrists and used all of your strength to keep him from scratching you. Bucky saw and rushed over to you. He got T’Challa off of you by tackling him to the ground. Bucky stands up and helps you up. You two ran as fast as you two could to get away from T’Challa. Steve was right behind you guys. Before you guys knew it, all of you were stopped by Rhodey and the cops.

“Congratulations, Cap. You’re a criminal.” Rhodey says.

Bucky protectively holds you against him and Steve stands in front of you to prevent the cops from putting handcuffs on you.

“Step away from her, guys.” Rhodey says.

“No.” Bucky and Steve say at the same time.

“It’s ok, guys.” You say softly.

Bucky and Steve looked at you. You gave them a nod. They hesitantly stepped away from you. The second they did, you were shoved to the ground and handcuffed. It broke Bucky’s and Steve’s hearts to see. They were put into a vehicle shortly after you were handcuffed. The ride was dead silent until T’Challa spoke up.

“How long do you think you can keep your sister safe from me?” T’Challa asks Steve.

“She didn’t do it. She’s been framed.” Bucky says.

“Bucky.” Steve softly warns.

“It’s true and you know it, Steve.” Bucky says.

Steve knows it’s true. He just doesn’t want an argument to break out in the vehicle. When the vehicle comes to a stop, it’s at a facility. When Bucky and Steve got out of the vehicle, they saw you in a pod like you’re a criminal.

“Are you fucking serious? She’s not a criminal. Get her the hell out of it.” Bucky says.

“It’s for everyone’s protection.” Ross says.

“No, it’s not. You guys just want to put her in a maximum security prison for something she didn’t do.” Bucky says.

“She’s a dangerous to everyone.” Ross says.

“Never fucking say that about my sister! She’s anything but dangerous!” Steve growls.

“Sorry, Rogers. This is what’s best for her.” Ross says.

“You don’t know what’s best for my sister! Bucky and I know what’s best for her and this isn’t best for her!” Steve says.

“It’s just for precaution, you guys.” Natasha says.

Bucky and Steve scoffed at her and Ross. They were taken to a room that looks like a conference room.

“How has she been?” Steve asks Bucky.

“She has her good days and bad days. Other than that, she’s been doing good. I’ve been taking care of her.” Bucky says.

“Thank you for taking care of my sister, Buck.” Steve says.

“You don’t have to thank me, Steve. You know I’m more than happy to take care of your sister.” Bucky says.

Meanwhile, you’re still locked up in the metal pod like a criminal. Zemo entered the room you’re in. He sat down at the table that’s a few feet away from you.

“Hello, Miss. Rogers.” Zemo greets you.

You didn’t greet him back. You just started at him with narrowed eyes.

“You’re Captain America’s sister, right?” Zemo asks.

“Yes.” You answered.

Zemo didn’t stop asking you questions. You chose not to answer them. Bucky and Steve were watching on a security camera screen in the room they’re in.

“I don’t know why they called someone in to get through to Y/N. The only people who can get through to her is us.” Bucky says.

Steve nods in agreement. That’s when the power goes out. Everyone looked at each other in confusion, wondering why the power went out. Bucky and Steve were the only ones who weren’t confused. They know what’s going on. They ran to the room you’re in, only to find out that you broke free of the metal pod. Bucky and Steve saw Zemo on the floor. Steve grabs his shirt, pulling him up from the floor and shoving him against the wall.

“What the hell did you do to my sister?!” Steve asks, almost growling.

“You’ll see.” Zemo says, smirking evilly.

That’s when you came back into the room and started attacking your brother and your boyfriend. They quickly realized that you’re in Winter Soldier mode. They dodged all of the punches and kicks. They did everything they could to not hurt you.

“Y/N, this isn’t you. You have to snap out of this.” Steve says.

You didn’t snap out of it. You continued fighting them. Bucky and Steve did everything they could to get through to you. When they were finally able to get ahold of you, they took you somewhere safe, which was an abandoned warehouse. When you finally came to and you were your normal self, you already know what just happened, especially from the way Bucky, Steve, and Sam were looking at you.

“It happened, didn’t it?” You asked, referring to you being in Winter Soldier mode a little bit ago.

“Yes.” Bucky and Steve say.

You sighed and covered your face with your hands in embarrassment. You knew it was going to happen sooner than later.

“Which Y/N am I talking to?” Steve asks just to be sure.

“It’s me, Stevie.” You say.

You gave him that nickname when you two were kids. That answer was enough for Steve to know that you’re back to your normal self.

“I didn’t do what everyone thinks I did. You guys have to believe me.” You say.

“We believe you, doll. Just know that everything is going to be ok.” Bucky says.

“Is it though? Everyone thinks I murdered someone and I should be put into a maximum security prison. I don’t want to go to jail.” You say, your voice cracking and your eyes tearing up.

“You’re not going to jail. We’ll make sure of it.” Steve says.

“I’m scared, you guys.” You say.

Bucky and Steve walked over to you and hugged you. That’s when you broke down into tears. Their hearts broke for you.

“Lucky for you, you have us. You know that we won’t let anything bad happen to you.” Bucky says softly.

“I don’t know you like your brother and Bucky do, but you have me too.” Sam chimes in.

“Thank you, guys. That really means a lot.” You say.

“We’ll always have your back. You know that.” Steve says softly.

You were hidden safely inside of the empty airport with Bucky and Sam while Steve went to go talk to Tony. The three of you watched from the window as your brother talk to Tony. From the looks of it, it looked like it wasn’t going well. Your nerves are through the roof. Bucky held your hand, giving it a gentle and comforting squeeze. That made you smile.

“Ok. You know what, you’re going to turn in your sister whether you like it or not.” Tony says.

“I’m telling you that she didn’t do it. She’s innocent. My sister would never intentionally hurt or kill anyone.” Steve says.

“You can say that all you want, Rogers, but your sister killed someone and she’s going to jail for it.” Tony says.

“She didn’t do it!” Steve says.

Tony still didn’t believe Steve, which led to a fight. You were still safely hidden inside of the airport. Or so you thought.

“I got 3 heat signatures inside of the airport. It’s Steve’s sister, Barnes, and Wilson.” Rhodey says.

“Rogers’s sister is mine.” T’Challa says.

Steve acted fast when T’Challa made his way towards the airport. He quickly got in front of him, blocking him from getting any closer to the airport.

“Captain.” T’Challa says.

“Your highness.” Steve says.

“Move.” T’Challa says.

“No.” Steve says.

Steve did what he could to protect you and stand his ground. He’s not going to let anyone get their hands on you and throw you into a maximum security prison. Bucky isn’t going to let anyone do that either. Now, all of you are standing on the tarmac.

“What do we do now?” You asked.

“We fight.” Steve says.

You took a shaky deep breath as you, Bucky, Steve, Sam and the rest of your team walked towards Tony and his team.

“They’re not stopping.” Peter says.

“Neither are we.” Tony says.

As both teams approached each other, T’Challa had a murderous look on his face as he stared you down. He went straight for you. You used the fighting skills you learned in HYDRA to fight him, minus the killing part. You managed to dodge most of the punches he threw your way, but then he managed to grab ahold of your throat. He didn’t choke you or slit your throat with his claws. He just placed his hand there so you’d be looking him straight in his eyes. You put your hands on his chest to push him away from you.

“I didn’t kill your father.” You say.

“Then why did you run?” T’Challa asks.

You didn’t answer him. Instead, you lifted your leg to knee him in his stomach, which made him let got of your throat. That didn’t stop him from fighting you. You backed up quickly as his claws kept getting closer and closer to slicing you. You ended up tripping over something, which made you fall down. You looked up at T’Challa as he stood over you. He crouches down over you. One of his hands reached for your throat again with his claws out. Then you saw red around him. Both of you looked over at Wanda. She used her powers to get him away from you. You quickly scrambled to stand up.

“Thank you, Wanda!” You say.

“You’re welcome!” Wanda says.

You ran as fast as your legs would let you, but then T’Challa caught up to you. He jumped onto you from behind, tackling you to the ground. You used all of your strength to get him off of you. When both of you stood up, you and him stared each other down like you two were in the Wild West. You saw his claws come out and he approached you. You grabbed his arm when he tried to slice you. A sharp and pain filled gasp left your lips when the claws on his free hand slices you. You slowly looked down at the cuts on your stomach. Blood was beginning to pour out of each cut. You began to feel woozy due to how much blood you’re losing and fell down to the ground. Bucky saw and rushed over to you.

“Doll, talk to me. What’s wrong?” Bucky asks worriedly.

That’s when Bucky saw your shirt sliced and soaked with blood. His heart drops and his eyes grow wide at the sight of it. He knew T’Challa did that to you. Anger began coursing through his veins and he looked up at T’Challa with the look of anger on his face. He stood up and tackles T’Challa to the ground, throwing punches at him. Steve saw and ran over to him, pulling him off of T’Challa.

“Calm down, Buck.” Steve says.

“Don’t tell me to calm down, Steve! He badly injured Y/N!” Bucky says.

Steve looks over at you, his eyes widening when he saw a small pool of blood underneath you. Both him and Bucky ran over to you.

“Everyone stop!” Steve shouts.

Everyone stopped fighting and walked over to you to see that you’re badly injured.

“She needs medical attention.” Bucky says.

Steve couldn’t agree more. Bucky picked you up bridal style and him and Steve rushed you to the nearest hospital. Everyone went with you guys. Bucky’s and Steve’s nerves were through the roof. They know that you’re going to pull through, but they couldn’t help but think of the worst possible scenarios. Everyone was comforting them the best they could. Tony was doing research. Not just ordinary research. He was doing digging. That’s when he came across information. Information and picture proof that you’ve been framed for T’Challa’s father’s death by Zemo.

“Rogers, Barnes, you guys need to see this.” Tony says, handing them a tablet.

Bucky and Steve looked at the tablet. It’s proof that you were framed for T’Challa’s father’s death and you’re innocent, which is what they’ve been saying all along.

“We fucking told you guys that Y/N is innocent, but half of you guys didn’t believe us! Now, she could possibly die due to the injuries he gave her!” Bucky says, raising his voice.

T’Challa looks at the tablet, which tells him that you’re innocent and didn’t kill his father. He was too blinded by vengeance to see that. Now that he knows the truth, he’s done letting vengeance consume him. Now, all he feels is guilt. He doesn’t even know where to begin with his apology for badly injuring you.

“You better hope that Y/N survives this.” Bucky says to T’Challa.

A couple agonizing hours go by is when a doctor finally comes out to the waiting room to update Bucky, Steve, and everyone else on how you’re doing. Bucky and Steve quickly stood up from their chairs when they saw the doctor.

“It was touch and go for a while, but she’s fine. She’s in a patient room right now. I can take you guys to her.” The doctor says.

Bucky and Steve nodded and followed the doctor to your hospital room. You were just coming out of anesthesia when they came into the room. You smiled when you saw them. They felt relieved to see that you’re awake and doing fine.

“Hi.” You smiled.

“Hi.” They smiled back.

They walked over to you, sitting on either side of your hospital bed.

“I’m sorry that I scared you guys.” You apologized.

“You have absolutely nothing to apologize for, Y/N.” Steve says.

“The good thing is that you survived.” Bucky says.

You smiled at them.

“We have good news.” Steve says.

“What is it?” You curiously asked.

“There’s proof that you were framed.” Bucky says.

“There is?” You asked.

“Yes. Tony did some digging and found the proof.” Steve says.

“That’s relieving.” You say.

You feel relieved to know that there’s proof of your innocence, but you couldn’t help but tear up.

“Hey, what’s wrong, doll?” Bucky asks softly.

“No one believed me.” You say, your voice cracking.

“We did and now, everyone else does.” Steve says.

“Really?” You asked.

Bucky and Steve nodded. You feel really relieved to know that everyone believes you now. The three of you looked over at the door when someone knocked on it. It was the Avengers.

“Are you up for visitors?” Natasha asks.

“Of course. Come in.” You say.

All of the Avengers came into your hospital room. All of them gave you hugs and told you that they’re glad that you’re fine. Then it was T’Challa’s turn to say something to you.

“I would like to apologize for what I did to you.” T’Challa says.

You nodded, giving him permission to do so. You felt Bucky’s hand protectively tightened around yours.

“I am so sorry for what I did. I was so blinded by anger and wanting revenge. I just wanted someone to pay for my father’s death. I would never intentionally hurt or kill someone. I’m done letting vengeance consume me. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me.” He says.

“I do forgive you. I don’t blame you for doing what you did either. I probably would’ve done the same thing.” You say.

T’Challa smiles, liking how forgiving you are. He walks over to you and gives you a hug.

“So, does this mean we all have some kind of truce?” You asked, looking at everyone.

You, Steve, and the Avengers agreed to the truce, except for Bucky. He’s still not happy with T’Challa for what he did to you.

“Bucky, we all agreed to a truce.” You say.

“Yea, I know.” Bucky says.

“Are you going to agree to the truce too?” You asked.

“I don’t know, doll.” He says.

“I know what you’re thinking, honey. Yes, I could’ve possibly died from the injuries T’Challa gave me, but I didn’t. I survived it and he apologized. That’s all that matters.” You say.

You’re right and Bucky knows it. He’s just being an overprotective boyfriend, which he has every right to be.

“You’re right.” Bucky agrees. “I agree to the truce too.” He says.

“Good.” You say.

You leaned up just enough to peck his lips softly without injuring yourself any further.

“I love you.” You say softly.

“I love you too, babydoll.” Bucky says just as softly.

You were wandering around the compound like you always do. You ended up in the lab where Tony was working on his latest technology project. Should you be in there while he’s working on it? No, but you, being the curious kid you are, went in there to see what he’s working on.

“Hi, Tony.” You say as he entered the lab.

“Hey, kid.” Tony says.

“What are you doing?” You curiously asked.

“A new piece of technology.” He tells you.

“Can I watch?” You asked.

“Yes. Sit on the other side of the table and don’t touch anything.” He says, pointing to the other side of the table.

“Ok.” You say.

You walked to the other side of the table and got up onto the stool, watching with curiosity Tony build a new piece of technology.

“Is it for your Iron Man suit?” You asked.

“I haven’t decided yet.” Tony says.

As Tony continued to build his new piece of technology, you kept asking him questions out of curiosity. He answered every single one of your questions. From time to time, he asked you to get him a different tool. It was almost done, but he had to make a few adjustments to it before finishing it. As he was doing so, it slipped out of his hand and fell onto the table. It blasted you and sent you flying off of the stool and into the wall behind you. Tony’s eyes went wide when he saw what just happened. He quickly rushed over to you to check on you. When he did, you weren’t yourself anymore. Meaning, you’re a baby now. Tony stares down at you like he just seen a ghost.

“Is everything ok? We heard a crashing noise.” Natasha says as her and the Avengers entered the lab.

Tony whips his body around, staring at the Avengers with wide eyes. They stared back at him in confusion.

“Why do you look like you seen a ghost?” Wanda asks Tony.

Tony stammered with his words as he tried to answer her. They looked down when they heard the sound of a baby babbling. They’re even more confused now.

“Who’s baby is that?” Sam asks.

“It’s Y/N.” Tony says.

“How did she get turned into a baby?” Clint asks.

“I was working on a new piece of technology and she came in here and asked me if she could watch me work on it and I told her she could. It fell out of my hand and it blasted her, which sent her flying into the wall and then turned into a baby.” Tony explains.

Now, it’s the Avenger’s turn to have wide eyes.

“You do realize that Bucky is actually going to kill you when he finds out what happened to his little sister.” Steve says.

“Yea, I know that, Captain Obvious!” Tony exclaims.

The Avengers started talking over each other, trying to figure out how they should tell Bucky what happened to you. Their talking got cut short when Bucky came into the lab.

“Have you guys seen Y/N? I haven’t seen her in a while.” Bucky says.

The Avengers whipped their bodies around, staring at Bucky with wide eyes, which confused him.

“Why are you guys staring at me like that?” Bucky asks confused.

The Avengers, especially Tony, were scared to say anything. They know once they tell Bucky what happened to you, he’s going to freak out. It won’t be Winter Soldier mode he turns into. It’ll be worst than that. It’ll be overprotective brother mode. Like, way over the top overprotective.

“Seriously. Where’s Y/N?” Bucky asks.

Before any of them could tell him what happened to you, you crawled over to Bucky and tapped on his leg. Bucky looks down at you in confusion.

“Who’s baby is this?” Bucky asks.

“We have something to tell you and we want you to stay calm.” Steve says.

“Ok.” Bucky says, wondering what they have to tell him.

“The baby is Y/N.” Natasha says.

Bucky stares at the Avengers for a few seconds before he saying anything.

“That’s not funny, guys. Seriously. Where is Y/N?” Bucky says.

“That is Y/N.” Wanda says.

Bucky was beginning to believe it when he heard it a second time. His eyes go wide and he looks back down at you. He picks you up to get a closer look at you, which confirms you’re the baby.

“How did this happen?!” Bucky asks frantically.

Everyone turned their heads towards Tony. Bucky looked at him too.

“She was watching me work on a latest piece of technology and it fell out of my hand and it blasted her, which sent her flying into the wall and then turned her into a baby.” Tony explains.

Bucky didn’t say a word back to him. He was quiet. Dead quiet. It was the calm before the storm. The quietness kinda scared the Avengers. They were waiting for Bucky to blow up with anger. Bucky takes a deep breath before saying anything, which made the Avengers flinch.

“So, you’re telling me that this baby is my little sister?” Bucky asks calmly.

“Yes.” Tony says.

Again, it got dead quiet. Bucky was trying to process the fact that you got turned into a baby. He takes a sharp inhale as he processes it.

“How long is she going to be like this or is she going to be like this forever?” Bucky asks.

“It lasts for 24 hours.” Tony says.

“24 hours? What am I supposed to do till she’s back to her normal self?!” Bucky exclaims.

“It’s going to be ok, Buck. Just try to stay calm. We’ll help you get everything she needs.” Steve says.

Freaking out won’t get Bucky do him any good, because he doesn’t want to accidentally scare you and make you cry. He did his best to stay as calm as he could. While Bucky was watching you, the Avengers went to the store to get you everything a baby needs. They didn’t get a lot, because you’ll only be a baby for 24 hours. They got you enough that’ll last you 24 hours.

“We have baby stuff.” Natasha says, holding up a few bags.

Bucky rummaged through the bags and found a couple onesies, baby formula, a baby bottle, a pacifier, and a pack of diapers. He put a diaper on you, along with a onesie. Bucky got a bit nervous when you started fussing.

“I know you don’t want to be like this for a second time in your life, but it’ll only be for a day and then you’ll go back to your normal self.” Bucky says softly to you.

Although, the softness of his voice was soothing, it didn’t stop you from fussing. He was trying to figure out why you were fussing. You have a clean diaper on. That’s when it hit him. You’re hungry.

“You’re hungry. Let’s get you something to eat.” Bucky says.

Bucky goes to the kitchen to make you a bottle. He stares at the canister of baby formula in confusion.

“Are you guys sure this stuff is safe for babies?” Bucky asks, holding up the canister of baby formula.

“It’s safe, Barnes.” Clint says.

After making sure that it’s safe, he opened the canister of baby formula to make you a bottle. He stares at the formula inside of the canister for a second.

“This stuff looks like vanilla cake batter.” Bucky mutters to himself.

Bucky makes you a bottle and then made sure the temperature of it is at the right temperature before feeding you.

“You’re still a fast eater.” Bucky says, referring to the way you’re drinking the baby milk. “Slow down though. I don’t want you to choke on this stuff.” He says softly.

It didn’t take Bucky long to remember how to take care of a baby. Everything he learned from yours and his parents from when you were born came right back to him.

“Taking caring of a baby isn’t so bad. It came right back to me from when you were a baby.” Bucky softly coos at you.

The Avengers stared at Bucky. This is a different Bucky than they’re used to. Not the Winter Soldier. Bucky turned into an overprotective teddy bear.

“You look like a giant teddy bear compared to her.” Sam says.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Bucky asks.

“It means that we’ve never seen this side of you.” Natasha says.

“It’s sweet to see.” Wanda says.

Bucky rolls his eyes at the Avengers and turned his attention back to you. That didn’t stop the Avengers from playfully teasing Bucky. He ignored the teasing that came from his teammates as he took care of you.

Taking care of you was pretty easy, except for when you started fussing. He wasn’t sure what you wanted, because he’s holding you, he fed you, and you have a clean diaper. Bucky was racking his brain of what you possibly wanted. That’s when he completely forgot about the pacifier that he put in his pocket earlier. He took it out of his pocket and gave it to you. You stopped fussing when he gave it to you.

“You could’ve told me that’s what you wanted.” Bucky chuckles. “Oh, wait. I forgot you can’t talk at the moment.” He realizes.

You just stared up at your brother with the look of curiosity in your eyes. Bucky smiles at you.

“Speaking of talking, we’re going to have to talk about you staying out of the lab when Tony is working on something so this doesn’t happen again.” Bucky says.

You didn’t understand a word he said. You stared up at him for a moment before shifting yourself in his arms to get comfortable to go to sleep.

“Someone’s sleepy.” Bucky coos softly. “Let’s get you out to bed.” He says.

Bucky realized what he said as soon as he said it.

“Shit. I forgot that you don’t have a crib.” He says.

Bucky thought to himself for a moment. He can’t put you in your bed, because you could somehow get hurt and that’s not safe for babies.

“I have an idea.” He says.

Bucky goes to his bedroom and lays down on his bed with you on his chest. It’s something he used to do with you when he was younger. He covered you up with a blanket so you didn’t get cold and you were comfortable.

“There we go.” He coos. “This is what I used to do with you in the 1940s.” He says softly.

Bucky gently rubs your back as you drifted off to sleep. He felt you relax in his arms and heard how relaxed your breathing is. He smiles and kisses the top of your head before falling asleep himself.

Surprisingly, you slept through the night. You didn’t wake up crying once. Although, you did wake up Bucky with your crying the next morning. Bucky recognized that cry. It was a hungry cry.

“You’re hungry, aren’t you? Let’s get you something to eat.” Bucky says.

Bucky gets out of bed and goes to the kitchen to make you a bottle. Just like yesterday, the Avengers teased him, which he ignored yet again. After Bucky fed you and changed your diaper, he checked the time on his watch. You’ll be changing back to your normal self in a few hours.

“You’ll be changing back to your normal self in a few hours.” Bucky says.

Till then, he just held you and put on kid friendly cartoons on the TV in the lounge room. A few hours went by fast and you changed back to your normal self. Bucky is relived to see you back to your normal self. You frowned in confusion when you saw that you’re wearing a baby onesie and a diaper.

“Why am I wearing a baby onesie and a diaper?” You asked confused.

“Get changed and I’ll explain everything.” Bucky says.

“Ok.” You say.

You went to your bedroom and changed into your normal clothes and went back to the lounge room where Bucky is. You sat down on the couch next to him.

“What’s the last thing you remember before you got turned into a baby?” Bucky asks.

“I was watching Tony working on a latest piece of technology. I don’t remember anything after it blasted me.” You say.

“Here’s what happened, the piece of technology turned you into a baby for 24 hours.” He tells you.

You didn’t respond at first. You just blinked and stared at your brother in confusion at what he just said.

“What?” You asked, making sure you heard him right.

“Tony’s latest piece of technology turned you into a baby for 24 hours.” He says again.

“I was a baby for a second time?” You asked.

“Yes.” He says.

You definitely understand him the second time he said it. Not only are you confused, you were having a hard time trying to process it.

“Are you ok?” Bucky asks.

“I’m fine. I’m just trying to process the fact that I was a baby for a second time.” You say.

“You were completely fine the whole time you were a baby. I took great care of you like I did when I was younger.” He says.

“You did?” You asked.

“I did.” He says.

Hearing that made you feel better about the fact that you were a baby moments ago.

“Now that we got the baby part out of the way, we need to talk.” Bucky says in a serious tone.

That made you nervous. The only time Bucky talks to you like that is when you’re in trouble or he wants you to understand something.

“Am I in trouble?” You asked nervously.

“No, of course not. I want to talk about you going into the lab when Tony is working on something. Something even more dangerous could happen than being turned into a baby. I understand that you’re a curious kid, but you could get seriously hurt and I don’t want that to happen to you. I want you to understand that and not go into the lab when Tony is working on something. Ok?” He says.

“Ok.” You say. “I’m sorry.” You apologized.

“You don’t have anything to apologize for, kiddo. All I want is for you to listen to me and understand.” He says.

“I won’t go in the lab while Tony is working on something.” You say.

“That’s all I wanted to hear.” He says.

You moved closer to your brother and gave him a hug.

“You’re a good kid and I love you.” Bucky says softly and kisses the top of your head.

“I love you too, Bucky.” You say.

Tony happened to be walking by the lounge when he heard your voice. He was just as relieved as Bucky when he saw that you’re back to your normal self.

“Oh, good! You’re back to your normal self. I wanted to apologize for that piece of technology turning you into a baby. I promise it won’t happen again. I hope you can forgive me.” Tony says.

“It’s ok, Tony. I forgive you.” You say.

“I hope you can forgive me too, Barnes.” Tony says to Bucky.

“I do. Just don’t let it happen again. Got it?” Bucky says.

“Understood.” Tony says.

HYDRA got their hands on you shortly after you were born. They wanted to start fresh with their experiments and that’s when you came into play. The experiments they did on you gave you mutant abilities. No, the experiments didn’t change the way you look. They just gave you abilities is all. They experimented on you nonstop. You weren’t sure how much more of it you could take.

One day, you were being trained to use your abilities. You thought maybe if you use your abilities, you might be able to get out of there and you’ll be free of HYDRA. That’s what you exactly did. First, you just started off with showing them what you can do with your abilities, which impressed them. You did that for a moment longer before turning on them and using your abilities on them. Then you ran as fast as you could out of the base. You ran as far as you could to get away from the base. You kept looking behind you to make sure you weren’t being followed. Then you accidentally ran into someone and fell to the ground. You looked up and saw one of the Avengers- Steve. Steve held his hand out to you to help you up from the ground.

“Who or what are you running from?” Steve asks.

“Bad people.” You say.

“Who exactly?” He asks.

“I’d rather not say.” You say.

Steve wasn’t going to force information you’re not comfortable sharing out of you. Also, you would much rather keep it to yourself. At least, for now.

“Well, how about me and the Avengers help you?” He suggests.

“Help me how?” You asked.

“Get you something to eat, clean clothes, and a place to live.” He says.

“Ok.” You agreed.

Steve took you to the Avengers compound where you got something to eat and a change of clothes. The Avengers were a bit skeptical about you being there at first. You don’t blame them for being defensive. You’re just a random kid one of them brought in. They know nothing about you.

“What’s your name?” Steve asks.

“Y/N.” You say.

“How old are you?” Natasha asks.

“15.” You say.

“Do you have any powers or abilities?” Tony asks.

You do, but you’d rather not say. You don’t want them to think that you’re a freak or something when you tell them that you have mutant abilities.

“No.” You lied.

“Whoever you were running from, you don’t have to worry about them anymore. You’re safe here with us.” Steve says.

“Really?” You asked.

The Avengers nodded.

“Thank you.” You say.

“You’re welcome.” They say.

For the first time in your life, you don’t have to worry about being poked and prodded. You feel relieved too. The Avengers are Earth’s mightiest heroes. They’ll keep you safe no matter what.

You’ve been living with the Avengers for a while now and the Avengers stuck to their word about keeping you safe. You still haven’t told them that you were HYDRA’s experiment since you were a baby and you have mutant abilities. You’re still keeping that to yourself. You wouldn’t say that it’s a secret. It’s just that you’re not ready to tell them about your past yet. So, for now, you’re just going to keep it to yourself.

“When will you guys be back?” You asked.

“We’ll be back before dark.” Steve says.

“Call us if anything goes wrong.” Natasha says.

“Ok. Be careful.” You say.

You gave each of them a hug for good luck before they left the compound. The mission they’re on has something to do with the HYDRA base where you were held at and experimented on all your life, but they don’t know that. The mission was going smoothly like it always does. Natasha found a room that looks like a storage room. She found a few filing cabinets in there. She opened one of them and searched through it. It wasn’t till she got to the last filing cabinet that she found something with your name on it. She frowns in confusion and opens it and skims through your file.

“Romanoff, everything is clear. It’s time to go.” Steve informs her.

“On my way.” Natasha says.

Natasha closes the file and goes back to the quinjet. She was the last one to get on it.

“What took you so long?” Clint asks.

“I found something.” Natasha says.

“What did you find?” Steve asks.

“A file with Y/N’s name on it.” Natasha says.

She hands it to one of the Avengers. All of them read through your file and passed it around to each other. That’s when they became suspicious.

“This doesn’t make sense. Why would HYDRA have a file on Y/N?” Steve says.

“Maybe she was sent to spy on us.” Tony says.

“You really think HYDRA would send a teenager to spy on us?” Bruce says.

“It’s HYDRA. What do you expect?” Natasha says.

“She could be undercover and trying to infiltrate us or something like that.” Clint says.

“Could that be possible?” Thor asks.

“I don’t know. Maybe.” Steve says.

“There’s only one way to find out.” Natasha says.

The Avengers plan is to question you when they got back to the compound, but you were already asleep by the time they got back so they waited until morning to question you. They kept going through every possibility that you were sent to spy on them. When you woke up and went to the kitchen for breakfast, they went silent. You frowned in confusion. They always say good morning to you. You thought maybe something went wrong during the mission and they’re not in a good mood right now.

“Did something go wrong during the mission yesterday?” You curiously asked.

“Something like that.” Tony says.

“Whatever went wrong, I’m sure you guys will figure it out.” You say positively.

The Avengers didn’t question you during breakfast. They waited till after you got ready for the day to question you.

“F.R.I.D.A.Y, tell Y/N to come to the conference room please.” Tony says.

“Yes, Mr. Stark.” F.R.I.D.A.Y responds.

F.R.I.D.A.Y informs you that the Avengers wanted to see you in the conference room. They were patiently waiting for you when you got there.

“I was told that you guys wanted to see me.” You say.

“Sit down please.” Natasha says.

You sat down at the conference room table. You’re confused. You didn’t do anything to get into trouble. You were wondering what they wanted to see you about.

“Did I do something wrong that I don’t remember?” You asked confused.

“You tell us.” Tony says.

“Tell you guys what?” You asked.

“Stop playing games. We know what you’re actually doing here.” Clint says.

“I’m here, because you guys gave me a safe place to live.” You say.

“Stop lying and tell us the truth.” Steve says.

“I am telling you guys the truth.” You say.

“Just tell us.” Bruce says.

“Tell you guys what?” You asked.

You’re so beyond confused at this point. You literally have no idea what they’re talking about.

“Just so you guys know, I’m extremely confused and I literally have no idea what you guys are talking about.” You say.

“Cut the bullshit. We know that you’re betraying us and HYDRA sent you here to spy on us.” Tony says.

Your eyes nearly bulged out of your head when he said that.

“What?” You say.

That’s when Natasha puts your HYDRA file in front of you. You opened it and read through it. Your breathing made a hitching sound as you read through it.

“Why didn’t you tell us that you were part of HYDRA?” Steve asks.

“I wasn’t part of HYDRA.” You say.

“Then why is your information in that file.” Natasha says.

You stammered with your words as you tried to answer their questions, but you couldn’t form a coherent sentence. You were beginning to feel overwhelmed and your eyes teared up. You got up to run out of the conference room to go to your bedroom and cry, but the Avengers blocked you from leaving the room.

“You’re not leaving till you tell us the truth.” Thor says.

“Fine. I’ll tell you guys everything you want to know. HYDRA got their hands on me when I was a baby. They experimented on me all of life. The experiments they did on me gave me mutant abilities. I ran away from them the day they trained me to learn how to use my abilities. That was the same day you guys promised me that I’ll be safe from them, but you guys didn’t know it was HYDRA at the time, because I wasn’t ready to tell anyone about my past. I didn’t want you guys to think I was a freak. If I’m being honest, I’m hurt that you guys would even think and say that I’m betraying and spying on you guys.” You tell them truthfully.

The Avengers are shocked. The room fell silent. They didn’t know what to say. You pushed past them and ran straight to your bedroom. The sound of you slamming the door echoed throughout the compound. The Avengers exchanged looks with each other. They feel nothing but guilt now. They didn’t mean for it to take it this far. They let their suspicions get the best of them and hurt your feelings. They wouldn’t blame you if you wanted nothing to do with them after today. They need to apologize for the way they just treated you, which they’re going to do right now.

“Y/N?” Steve knocks on your bedroom door.

You didn’t answer the door. The Avengers could hear you crying your eyes out.

“We would like to apologize.” Natasha says.

Again, you didn’t say anything. They tried to open the door, but it was locked.

“Can you unlock the door please?” Clint asks.

You threw your shoes at the door, which made them flinch and jump back a bit.

“Maybe we should come back later.” Bruce says.

The Avengers nodded in agreement. They left you alone for now. For now turned into a few days. You didn’t say a word to them in a few days. You didn’t leave your bedroom either. The only time you did was when you were hungry or thirsty. Other than that, you didn’t leave your bedroom. They tried getting you to leave your room but talking to you outside of your room, but you ignored them. They’re doing everything they can think of to get you to come out of your room and forgive them.

“The Avengers would like to see you in the conference room.” F.R.I.D.A.Y informs you.

“Tell them I don’t want to talk to them.” You say.

“They said you’d say that. They still want you to go to the conference room.” F.R.I.D.A.Y says.

You sighed loudly and exaggeratedly before getting out of bed and going to the conference room. The Avengers were in there again like they were when they accused you of betraying them and spying on them for HYDRA.

“What do you guys want?” You asked.

“We just want to talk.” Steve says.

“Why would I want to hear anything you guys say after you guys accused me of betraying and spying on you guys for HYDRA? Do you guys not realize how much that hurt me?” You say.

“You have every reason to feel hurt for what we accused you of. We just want to apologize is all.” Natasha says.

You silently stared at them for a few seconds before agreeing to hear their apology.

“We didn’t mean to hurt you. When we found your HYDRA file, we immediately thought you were a say for HYDRA. You never know with HYDRA. That’s why we got suspicious.” Steve says.

“I understand your suspicions, but you guys could’ve approached the conversation differently instead of interrogating me and accusing me of betrayal and spying on you guys.” You say.

“You’re right and we’re truly sorry about that.” Natasha says.

“Can you forgive us?” Tony asks.

Even those they hurt your feelings, their apology sounds sincere. You stood up from the chair and gave each one of them a hug.

“I forgive you guys.” You say.

The Avengers smiled and came in for a group hug. That moment really felt like a family moment.

Months go by since that day and now, all of you are closer than ever. Not only do you consider the Avengers family, you also told them about your mutant abilities. You don’t use your abilities unless if it’s for self defense. Anyways, in those same months, the Avengers thought it would be a great idea to adopt you. They got everything signed and now, all of them are your legal guardians. They’re going to tell you right now.

“Hey, kid. We have a surprise for you.” Tony says.

“What is it?” You curiously asked.

“Open this and find out.” Natasha says, handing you a big yellow envelope.

You took the envelope from her and opened it, taking the papers out of it. You read the papers word for word. Then you came across the words adopt and guardians.

“You guys are my legal guardians now?” You asked.

“Yes.” Thor says.

“How do you feel about that?” Bruce asks.

Instead of answering them, you gave all of them a hug as your answer.

“We’re taking that as you’re happy that we adopted you.” Clint says.

“I am.” You smiled at them. “I love you guys.” You say.

“We love you too.” They say at the same time.

Yours and Bucky’s second wedding anniversary is next week. You two have been thinking about what you two should do. You two could go out for a romantic dinner at a really nice restaurant, but you and Bucky want to do something more fun and romantic. Bucky came up with the perfect idea to celebrate yours and his second wedding anniversary. He’s going to surprise you by taking you to see the polar lights for a week. The week of yours and his wedding anniversary to be exact. Bucky is excited to take you.

That’s not going to be the only surprise though. You’re going to surprise Bucky too. You found out that you’re pregnant a few days ago. You’re going to surprise him in the cutest way. You bought baby shoes and a onesie that says “best dad ever” on it with the ultrasound pictures and the three pregnancy tests you took. You put all of those items in a cute little gift bag that has baby animals on it. You’re more than excited to give it to him.

“Doll, are you home?” Bucky asks after he closes the door to yours and his apartment.

“I’m in the bedroom. I’ll be out in a minute.” You say.

You hid the gift bag behind a stack of blankets in the closet that’s in yours and Bucky’s bedroom. Then you went out to the living to greet your husband.

“Hi, baby.” You smiled, greeting him with a kiss.

“Hi, doll.” He smiles and kisses you back. “I thought of something we can do for our anniversary next week.” He says.

“Oh? What is it?” You curiously asked.

“We’re going a week long trip next week.” He tells you.

“That sounds fun and romantic.” You say.

“I know right.” He agrees.

“We should get packing.” You say.

That what you and Bucky exact did. Bucky’s back was turned to you as he was putting clothes in a duffel bag. That gave you the perfect opportunity to get Bucky’s surprise out of the closet and carefully put it into your bag. Bucky wraps his arms around you as you’re zipping up your bag.

“I can’t wait for our anniversary.” Bucky says softly.

“Me too.” You smiled.

You turned your head just enough to kiss him softly and sweetly. When next week finally comes, you were unable to contain your excitement.

“When’s the last time we went on a trip?” You asked.

“Our honeymoon.” Bucky says.

“Really? It’s been that long?” You asked.

“Yes.” He says.

“Wow. We need to go on vacation more often.” You say.

“I know right.” He agrees.

The drive to the hotel Bucky booked for the two of you was a few hours away, which made the car ride feel like forever, but it went by fast.

“Oh, wow.” You say, looking at the outside of the hotel.

“I know right.” Bucky says.

You and Bucky got yours and his bags out of the car and went inside of the hotel. You two got the room key and went up to the hotel room.

“Oh, wow. This room looks as big as the honeymoon suite we were in on our honeymoon.” You say.

“That’s because it is a honeymoon suite.” Bucky says.

You looked at your husband with the look of surprise on your face. Surprised in a good way.

“You did not.” You say speechlessly.

“I did.” He smiles. “It’s our second wedding anniversary. So, why not go all out.” He says.

You kissed him passionately, smiling against his lips.

“You’re the most romantic man in the universe.” You say softly.

“Only for you, doll face.” He smiles.

You smiled and kissed him again. Then you two took a look around the hotel room.

“This room is incredible.” You say.

“Don’t say that just yet, babydoll.” Bucky says.

“Why?” You asked.

Bucky gently grabs your hand and leads you out to the balcony where you and him are going to have the best view of the polar lights tonight.

“This is even more incredible.” You say, amazed by the view from the balcony.

“Wait until tonight.” He says.

“What’s happening tonight?” You asked.

“After dinner, we’re going to sit out here and watch the polar lights.” He says.

Your jaw dropped.

“No way!” You exclaimed excitedly.

“Yes way!” He exclaims just as excitedly as you.

You squealed excitedly and hugged him tightly. Then you cupped his cheeks.

“You always know how to surprise me.” You say softly.

“It’s my job as your husband to surprise you, doll.” Bucky says softly.

It’s your job as his wife to surprise him too, but his surprise is coming later.

“Let’s get ready for dinner.” He says.

You two kissed once more before getting ready for dinner. The restaurant you and Bucky had dinner at was incredible too. Then came time to watch the polar lights. Both of you watched it in amazement.

“This is beautiful.” You say amazed.

“You’re more beautiful.” Bucky compliments softly.

You couldn’t help but blush. Bucky never fails to make you blush.

“You’re the best husband in the world.” You say, leaning over to kiss him softly.

Bucky smiles at your words. You two watched the polar lights for a moment longer before you told him that you have a surprise for him.

“I have a surprise for you too.” You say.

“I told you that you didn’t have to get me anything, babydoll. Being married to you is the best thing I can ever have.” He says softly.

“This surprise is nonrefundable.” You say.

“Oh?” He asks.

You smiled and nodded before going back inside of the hotel room. You unzipped your bag and got the gift bag out of it. You went back out to the balcony and gave it to Bucky. Bucky looks at the gift bag with curiosity.

“Baby animals. Adorable.” Bucky smiles.

You were practically on the edge of your seat as Bucky opened the gift bag and took the contents of it out. He looked at each item carefully, starting with the baby shoes. Then he took the onesie out of the gift bag.

“Best dad ever.” Bucky reads aloud.

Finally, he pulls the ultrasound pictures and three positive pregnancy tests out of the gift bag. His jaw drops when he finally pieces everything together. Bucky’s eyes teared up with happiness and excitement.

“You’re pregnant?” Bucky asks softly.

“Yes!” You smiled.

Bucky looks at the baby shoes, onesie, ultrasound pictures, and the three pregnancy tests one more time before carefully putting all of the items back into the gift bag. He stands up, pulling you up with him. You squealed in surprise when he picked you up to hug you. You wrapped your legs around his waist.

“We’re going to be parents!” Bucky exclaims loudly and excitedly.

“We’re going to be parents!” You say just as loudly and excitedly as him.

Bucky kisses you with so much passion that it takes yours and his breath away.

“When did you find out?” He asks.

“The day after you left for the mission. I thought it would be a cute idea to surprise you on our wedding anniversary.” You say.

“I’m more than surprised, babydoll.” He smiles.

Bucky gently puts you back on your feet and guides you to sit down. He gets on his knees in front of you and pulls your shirt up just enough to expose your soon to be pregnant belly to him.

“Hi, little one. I’m your daddy. Your mommy just surprised me with you. I just wanted to tell you how loved you already are and we can’t wait to meet you soon.” Bucky says softly and sweetly.

Your eyes teared up at Bucky’s soft and sweet words. He softly kisses your belly before pulling your shirt back down and looking up at you. He smiles widely at you before leaning up to kiss you.

“Happy anniversary, doll. I love you so much.” Bucky says softly.

“Happy anniversary, honey. I love you too.” You say just as softly.

This is the best wedding anniversary ever for you and Bucky. You and him are more than excited to celebrate it and have a baby together. That’s something you two will never take for granted. You two wouldn’t change it for the world either.

All your life you have no idea how you ended up in foster care. You were in the foster care system when you were a baby. Then a couple decided to foster you. Then you ended up in Storybrooke with them. How? You don’t know. That’s around the same time the curse was casted, but since you were just a little kid, you didn’t know that. Anyway, the foster parents you’re currently with weren’t that bad at first, but then, things began to change as you got older. They didn’t hurt you or anything like that. They just kinda stopped being parents. They’re no longer the nice couple who adopted you when you were a baby. Now, they’re just not good parents.

That’s when Regina came across you. You were frantic and crying as you looked all over the place for your parents. To you, you thought they just walked away from you, but that’s not what happened. They intentionally left you without saying a word. The more Regina watched you, she thought either you walked away from your parents or your parents walked away from you. Either or, she decided to approach you to see if she can help you. She crouches down to your height.

“Do you need help, sweetie?” Regina asks softly.

“My mommy and daddy are gone.” You cried.

“I’m sorry to hear that. Do you know where they are?” She asks.

“No.” You shook your head.

“How about I help you find them?” She suggests.

You sniffled and frantically shook your head no. That made Regina frown in confusion.

“Why don’t you want to find your parents?” She asks.

“They’re not a good mommy and daddy.” You tell her.

“What do you mean by that?” She asks.

“They stopped being my mommy and daddy.” You tell her.

“Do they hurt you?” She asks just to be sure.

“No.” You shook your head. “They’re just not a good mommy and daddy anymore.” You say again.

After hearing that, Regina knew she had to do something to help you and she exactly knows what she’s going to do.

“Do you want to come home with me and I’ll be your mommy?” Regina asks.

“Really?” You asked.

“Only if that’s what you want.” She says.

“Yes please.” You nodded.

You were amazed the second you walked inside of Regina’s house. You thought her house is amazing.

“This is your house?” You asked, looking around.

“Yes and now it’s yours too.” Regina says.

“Oh my god! Really?” You asked excitedly.

“Yes.” She smiles.

From that day on, Regina was your mom. You didn’t have to deal with the couple who adopted you anymore. You’re much happier with Regina being your mom. She treats you so much better than the couple who adopted you. Speaking of adopted, Regina adopted you, which made you happy. From then on out, she raised you like you’re her own daughter. She adopted Henry years later. You love the idea of having siblings. You and Henry get along great.

Now that you’re in your 20s, you still couldn’t ask for a better life. Having Regina as your mom and Henry as your brother is the best thing you could’ve asked for. Actually, your life just got even more better. You ended up bumping into Jefferson when you were running errands. Literally. You weren’t paying attention to where you were walking and accidentally bumped into him.

“Oh my god! I am so sorry! I wasn’t paying attention to where I was walking!” You apologized profusely.

“It’s ok. I wasn’t paying attention to where I was walking either.” Jefferson says.

That’s when you and Jefferson locked eyes. You two stared at each other. You two felt something spark inside of you guys the second you two locked eyes. It’s like you two were destined to meet.

“I’m Jefferson.” Jefferson introduces himself.

“I’m Y/N.” You introduced yourself.

“If you don’t mind me saying, you’re beautiful.” He compliments.

“Oh, thank you.” You smiled and blushed.

“Can I get you some tea or coffee or something at Granny’s?” He asks.

“I would love that.” You say.

Lucky for you two, you guys were across the street from Granny’s. Both of you looked both ways before crossing the street to Granny’s. You two ordered something to drink and sat down to talk to each other. You two talked to each other for what seemed like for hours, but you two aren’t complaining one bit.

“Call me crazy, but I have this feeling inside of me that we were destined to meet.” You say.

“I don’t think that’s crazy at all. I have the same feeling.” Jefferson says.

You two smiled at each other. You two talked more and more, getting to know each other. It turns out that you two have a lot in common. When you had to go home, Jefferson, being the gentleman he is, walked you home.

“Thank you for walking me home.” You say.

“You’re welcome. You never know what might jump out at you at night.” Jefferson says.

“I really enjoyed talking to you.” You say.

“Me too. We can talk more again tomorrow.” He says.

“I would love that.” You smiled.

You stood on your tippy toes and kissed his cheek.

“Goodnight.” You say softly.

“Goodnight.” Jefferson says just as softly.

Jefferson went home with a smile on his face and you went inside of the house with a smile on your face. Henry, who should be in bed at this time of night, greeted you at the door. You didn’t question why he wasn’t in bed. You just figured that he got out of bed to get something to drink.

“Were you on a date?” Henry curiously asks.

“I’m not sure that I would call it a date. It was more like me and him getting to know each other first. We’re seeing each other again tomorrow.” You say.

“I hope everything goes well for both of you.” He says.

“You’re so sweet, Henry. Thank you.” You smiled.

“You’re welcome.” He smiles.

Henry went back to his bedroom and went back to bed. Meanwhile, you couldn’t stop thinking about Jefferson. Jefferson couldn’t stop thinking about you either. Both of you know that this is just the start of yours and his relationship, but you two are beginning to fall in love with each other.

When the curse was finally broken, everyone was trying to process everything, especially the Charmings and Emma. Not only that, they also found you. Emma’s fraternal twin sister. Snow and Charming haven’t seen you and Emma since you two were born. They’re so happy to finally see both of you grown up.

“Y/N.” Snow and Charming say as they hugged you.

You stiffened and frowned in confusion. You wondered how they know your name. At first, you assumed that they’re friends with Regina.

“Are you friends with my mom?” You asked.

“No. Sweetie, we’re your parents.” Snow says.

“What?” You asked.

“It’s true.” Henry chimes in, showing you his book.

You looked at his book and it’s true. As Snow and Charming kept talking to you, you tried to process everything that’s happening in this very moment.

“Sweetie, we’re your parents. Not Regina.” Snow says.

“I hear what you guys are saying and I saw what what’s in the book, but how’s anything of this true? Regina is my mom. She’s been my mom since I was a little kid.” You say, beginning to feel overwhelmed.

“Regina isn’t your mom. She’s the one who casted the curse. The four of us got separated when the curse was casted.” Snow says.

“The four of us?” You asked confused.

“Me, your father, your fraternal twin sister, and you.” She says, gesturing towards Emma.

You looked over at Emma. All of the information you just found out is overwhelming you and you’re not sure what to think.

“Sweetie, you have to believe me.” Snow says.

You didn’t say a word. All you feel is overwhelmed. Charming noticed and told Snow to dial it down a bit.

“I-I have to go.” You say.

You ran. You didn’t mean to, but you did. You ran straight to Jefferson’s house without stopping. You knocked on the door till he opened it. You immediately hugged him as soon as he opened the door. Jefferson guided inside and closed the door. He took you to the leaving room and sat you down on the couch.

“Sweetheart, what’s wrong?” Jefferson asks softly.

“I can’t-” You were so overwhelmed that you couldn’t form a complete sentence.

“Let’s take a deep breath. Ok?” He says softly.

You nodded and took a few deep breaths to get your breathing under control.

“There you go. Now, tell me what’s got you so overwhelmed.” He says softly.

“The curse has been broken and I just met my biological parents and my fraternal twin sister.” You tell him.

“You met them?” He asks.

You nodded.

“Who are they?” He asks.

“The Charmings and Emma.” You tell him.

“The Charmings are your biological parents and Emma is your fraternal twin sister?” He asks just as shocked as you.

“Yes. My biological mother tried to get me to believe that it’s true, but she accidentally overwhelmed me and I ran here.” You say.

“I can see why you’re overwhelmed.” He says.

You nodded. Being in Jefferson’s arms was comforting and made the overwhelming feeling fade away.

“I don’t know what to do.” You say.

“You don’t have to do anything right now. Just take some time to process it. I’m right here while you do that.” Jefferson says softly.

“You’re the best. I don’t know what I’d do without you.” You say and smiled.

Jefferson smiles and kisses you softly.

It took you a while to process the fact that you met your biological parents and your fraternal twin sister. It was hard to process at first, but you somehow managed to process all of it without getting overwhelmed again. Jefferson was a big help too, along with Grace. Meanwhile, Regina, Snow, and Charming went over to Jefferson’s house to see you. They knocked on the door and Jefferson opened it.

“Is Y/N here?” Regina asks.

“Yes, she is.” Jefferson says.

“Can we see her?” Snow asks.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Jefferson says.

“Why not?” Charming asks.

“She was so overwhelmed when she found out everything that she wasn’t sure how to process it. She did manage to process everything without getting overwhelmed not too long ago. I just want what’s best for her.” Jefferson says.

“That’s what we want too.” Regina says.

“We just want to talk to her. We promise not to overwhelm her again.” Snow says.

Jefferson looks at the three of them for a few seconds before stepping aside to allow them to come inside of his house. He told them to way in the living room while he went to yours and his bedroom to get you.

“Sweetheart, your parents are here.” Jefferson says.

“They are?” You asked.

“Yes.” He says.

“I don’t know if I can face them.” You say, feeling yourself getting overwhelmed again.

“They just want to talk.” He says.

“I don’t know if I can do it.” You say.

“Everything is going to be ok, darling. I’ll be right by your side during the whole thing.” He says softly.

You nodded and took a few deep breaths before going to the living room with Jefferson right beside you. You were nervous to see all three of them at once, but you managed to stay calm with Jefferson by your side.

“Hi.” You say as you entered the living room.

“Hi.” They say softly.

All of you sat down so you guys could talk. Snow and Charming did most of the talking. Regina said some things as well. You listened. You didn’t get overwhelmed this time. This time, you were holding Jefferson’s hand and he gave your hand soft and comforting squeezes every now and then, which made you feel better.

“We didn’t mean to overwhelm you with all of the news. We’ll try not to do it again. We’re just really happy to see you again and to see how grown up you are.” Snow says.

“Like Jefferson said, we just want what’s best for you.” Regina says.

“How are you feeling with all of this?” Charming asks.

“I will admit that I was overwhelmed at first and it took me a while to process it. With Jefferson’s help, I finally have it processed and I’m fine with all of it.” You say.

“That’s good to hear.” Snow smiles.

All of you stood up and gave each other a hug. When you and Regina hugged, you felt like you needed to say something.

“I know they’re my biological parents, but that doesn’t change mine and yours relationship. You’re still my mom and I love you.” You say.

“That means a lot to hear, sweetie.” Regina smiles.

Before the three of them left, all of you agreed to have dinner together sometime soon.

“I meant what I said to them when they got here. All I want is what’s best for you.” Jefferson says.

“You’re so sweet. I love you so much.” You smiled and kissed him.

“I love you too, darling.” He says softly.
