Visions Of Paradise - Sera & Wesley
Seraâs description had made him curious enough to want to see the pictures. However, he cared about her feelings more than he cared about easing his own curiosity. If the pictures recirculated he would find it difficult to avoid taking a glance but he wasnât going to demand to see them. âAll of that hairspray must have paid off.â He spoke teasingly, âBecause youâre beautiful. â A smirk slowly stretched across his lips, âPerhaps even the sexiest woman around.â It didnât matter what she looked like as a young girl, or even as a teenager, because he hadnât known her back then. Wesley started to laugh, âAnd sometimes youâre very distracting because I canât take my eyes off you.âÂ
"I donât even think I have the energy to be bothered by it right now." He chuckled softly, "Definitely something to worry about later." Wesley waited for a response from Sera about the studio. The realization that his wife hadnât been his first thought was still lingering on his mind. It was clear that he had moved on from an outside perspective, or else he wouldnât have been with Sera, but mentally he still struggled with balancing his love for the both of them. The more involved he became with Sera the less he thought about his previous life. It felt natural, though, as if being with Sera was the right person to move on with. He gave a quick smile as Sera mentioned knowing of a studio. "Perfect."
His eyes lit up as Sera brought up not going anywhere. âYes, I know.â He returned her kiss, his lips pressing deeper into hers. Wesleyâs interest in the box had dwindled down and when Sera brought up throwing the rest in the trash he found it hard to argue. Everything that was worth being kept was already taken out and if he kept anything else it would have been out of laziness and not actual attachment. âThe rest is quite rubbish.â He admitted with a laugh as he let go of the box and joined Seraâs embrace. âTomorrow, yes, we can finish thenâŚthatâs a good idea.â Agreed Wesley, in between the kisses that she was giving him, as he slowly brought them closer to their bed.Â
Unable to help it, Sera felt a blush spread to her cheeks as Wesley called her beautiful, even so far as to even call her sexy. She had had such self-esteem issues growing up and while she had gotten much more comfortable with herself over time, she found herself back to doubting her beauty after her incident. The scars that remained long after a constant reminder of the bad of those events. She was self-conscious about them but somehow, whenever Wesley uttered those words to her, she couldn't help but believe him. She couldn't help but smile knowing that even now, with them, she was still beautiful in his eyes. As he mentioned her also being distracting, she let out a soft chuckle, biting her lip to keep the goofy grin off her features. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to be." She said, glancing up at him with amusement.
She let out a sigh in contentment as he agreed with her and kissed her back, his lips pressing deeply against hers. She no longer cared about the rest of the unpacking. All the rest of the things could be put away tomorrow since it was the weekend and they both had the day off. Â She leaned into him as his arms wrapped around her, fingers sprawled softly at the nape of his neck, moving up into his dark curls. She gave a small nod of her head as he agreed, grinning against his lips as she kissed him and as he pulled them closer to their bed. "Good." She said softly, moving one of her arms from around him to grab the box and drop it down to the floor, being careful not to let any of its contents fall out while still keeping close to Wesley.
"We get to finally break in the new bed." She said with a small chuckle. "New bed. New house. New Life... It all starts now." She mused out loud with another happy sigh. She felt blessed. She still didn't know how she got so lucky with Wesley, especially considering all the bad that had happened to her up until this point, but she knew she would savor and appreciate every single moment with him from that moment forward. She kissed him again, getting lost in the warmth and happiness she felt.
