↬ Gabe Perreault has lived in Richard Ville since he was little. It's the kind of town nestled deep within the southern hills, tucked between overgrowing trees and clear watered lakes. It's the quietest place Gabe has ever known, but when summer hits, the tourists flow in. He works at the local diner, making his daily special fresh fruit pies and serving different customers every day. He loves hearing the different accents and backgrounds, learning new ways of life and gaining different perspectives on a range of subjects. It's the kind of Place Gabe would never dream of leaving.

That is until Matt Rempe arrives one early morning in the middle of June. He's nothing like Gabe has ever seen-tall and handsome and completely unknown. Matt comes by the diner every morning, ordering the same cup of coffee and pie. After weeks of small early morning conversations, the two get to know one another more and more. But Gabe still isn't sure why the mysterious guy is in town and Matt refuses to tell him.

While the two slowly turn from strangers to friends to more, Gabe soon realizes he can't imagine life without Matt. But Richard Ville is a place people come to visit, not stay- and with the end of August creeping up faster than he would like, Gabe has to come to terms with the fact Matt was always meant to leave

Wills a siren, luring men in with his looks and voice. Macks family are pirates who kidnap and kill sirens for money. A violent storm at sea, causes Mack to fall in the water and its presumed he's dead. But a week later, he shows back up on the shore where the Celebrini family is docked for the day. He has no memory of what happened or how he's alive. Except for the blurry images of blonde hair and soft, slimy hands. Every day he starts to remember more and more until eventually, somewhere int he middle of the sea, they catch a siren and Mack freezes because-thats him. Thats the siren that helped him.

Gabe Perreault who's a broke uni student. His best friends, Leno and Will, come from very rich families so they dont understand that Gabe is living paycheck to paycheck.

Gabe Perreault who's been late with the rent for three months straight. Will and Leno dont care that much, obviously they have enough to just pay it for him, but Gabe feels so guilty.

Gabe Perreault who cant pay his tuition or any school fees.

Gabe Perreault who, because God must be against him because he hasnt prayed since he left his hometown, can't seem to find a well paying job and is instead stuck as a tutor for his fellow classmates.

Gabe Perreault who's super smart but to him, none of it matters because it won't help him get money.

Gabe Perreault who, one day, decides he's had enough and goes on some stupid sketchy website thats main premise is to find a sugar daddy.

Gabe Perreault who goes a whole month feeling gross and ashamed because of all the nasty messages he recieves from all sorts of different men.

Gabe Perreault who cries himself to sleep everynight, feeling disgusting and shameful. Because who would do this to themself? Who would eevr stoop so low?

Gabe Perreault who almost gives up, who almost excepts he"ll never be financially stable.

Gabe Perreault who's tired of being used for his body. For only getting 10$ for his pics, even though thats what he deserves because he's gross and slutty and who would ever truley love him-

Gabe Perreault who gets a message one night from someone named Matt. A complement about his grammatical spelling along with an insane amount of money.

Gabe Perreault who can't believe it and asks the guy if he wants a dick pic

Gabe Perreault who soon learns, that he's worth more than his body.

Gabe Perreault who, after everything, gets treated to a nice fancy dinner, and chocolates and a bubble bath. Who gets so much love from Matt he forgets he's broke. Who never has to worry about financial difficulty ever again.
