#putting this in the tags because it seems too outlandish to outright post it haha #hi i'm alive #these months i've been doing exactly what I always wanted to do and i'm so much happier #but like #seeing this blog reminds me a lot of what i shouldve done #i had everything i have now in high school #except i was too self-hating and felt too terrible all the time to actually accept that i could live normally #& i was always too bitter to just love anything & allow myself to be obsessed and passionate and make mistakes and friendshi #and to even hate anyone or anything that wasn't myself #it's rlly edgy now that i'm writing it out but i can't fully explain much besides that i wanted to die all the time #i wished i learned how to be a person a long time ago #like a person with real interests and flaws and baggage #i wish i opened up to people and told my story because i now know it was just as valid #i wish i talked about my feelings directly #i wish i talked to my teachers and got to know them #i wish i went for space science research a long time ago instead of confining myself to TEM that i hated and posting about space on tumblr #i wish i wore what i wanted and let myself do cute hairstyles i wish i had let myself have crushes on boys i wish i didnt block that all off #from myself and just lived. like that was so difficult to accept that i was just as real ad valid & wasn't horribly flawed to the point #where i didnt deserve friends or interests or to wear bright colors or to speak or to even exist like #i wish i could go back i had so many opportunities i never realized i jsut hated everything and myself and it was stupid and angsty idk why #did that to myself. but things are diff now!!! i'm doing a lot of things!!!!!! still sooo omiserable but so much better n i know i'm better #so like. its such a waste!!! to not be happy n cute and stupid n fully actually human instead of trying to pretend ur nothing all the time #i just wish i had more time #i love you all pls take care #personal #(:

NGC 6752

NGC 6752 is a globular cluster located about 13,000 light years away towards the constellation Pavo, the Peacock. It is over 10 billion years old, and contains over 100 thousand stars in a sphere only 100 light years across.

NGC 6752 is the third brightest globular cluster to Earth, following Omega Centauri and 47 Tucanae. A surprising number of core stars in NGC 6752 are multiple star systems. The cluster is also home to numerous blue stragglers, stars appearing much younger and more massive than expected in a globular cluster. These stars are thought to be rejuvenated through star mergers and collisions.

Nightfall raises the curtain on a theatrical display taking place in the cloudless skies over La Silla Observatory in Chile. Comet Lovejoy appears glowing green in the centre of the image; the Pleiades above and to the right; and the California Nebula, providing some contrast in the form of a red arc of gas directly to the right of Lovejoy. A meteor adds its own streak of light to the scene, seeming to plunge into the hazy pool of green light collecting along the horizon.

The famous image of Einstein’s desk, exactly how he left it, mere hours after his death

Before his passing Einstein had refused the surgery for the internal bleeding that subsequently took his life; saying: “I want to go when I want. It is tasteless to prolong life artificially. I have done my share, it is time to go. I will do it elegantly”.

As can be seen here with the mountains of shuffled paper and scribbles on the blackboard, Einstein certainly did do his part and worked until the very end.
