Fugo He only wears glasses if they're cool enough. He doesn't like how he looks in them otherwise, and also has contacts because of this.

I think that when he was younger, he hated wearing them and he stopped wearing them after being disowned because there was no one to make him.

At some point, when he's developed more of his personal style, he learns that they do make cool glasses, and he gets a pair. That makes wearing them more ideal.

Giorno He was dropped on his head as a baby so one of his eyes is way worse than the other. The other is fine, so he wouldn't get glasses because he can just fake it till he makes it.

I would be remiss to not mention my Giorno glass eye headcanon- sometimes I do it where he loses his eye and gets a glass eye in the babyface fight (he likes changing it from real eye back to a glass eye to have another party trick to freak people out with), and it would be fun if he lost his good eye. This would make faking good eyesight much harder. The Don of Passione cannot see.

Mista I have two options for Mista. One is that he hates wearing glasses but the idea of contacts freaks him the fuck out. He does not want to put his fingers in his eyes. He only wears his glasses when he absolutely needs to aim his gun. Maybe he has an avant-garde grandma glasses chain that his equally cool glasses can hang from. He can't read the street signs when he's not wearing them but he totally doesn't need them.

The other option is that he wears both contacts and glasses- your eyes don't know the difference if the prescriptions match up to your actual prescription and his do. Why is he consistently getting new contacts when he could just get his eyes checked again? Why would he? He has a system.

Bucciarati He doesn't have a particularly strong prescription and wearing his glasses takes away from his mafioso image. The old ladies who are fond of him would think they're cute and that's not really helping his respectability as a mobster, and all that. The glasses would be cool though, probably a cat eye.

Abbacchio He used to wear contacts but he slept in them too much and got an eye infection. His glasses are either lost or broken. He wears sunglasses with an outdated prescription when he's hungover.

Narancia If he does need glasses he's not getting it checked, but I think he probably has some of the best vision in the group. Like, if he got his eyes checked he'd probably walk away with a prescription but it's nothing that would really necessitate wearing them. He's not squinting or anything.

I think more of his difficulties with math would be attention-based (I've also seen dyslexia/discalculia which is fun) and wouldn't have anything to do with his eyesight. Fugo would probably wonder about it being glasses and insist they have his eyes checked. Whether or not this actually happens is... debatable. They're both stubborn as fuck.

Then, some handsome, well-off enough European guy sweeps you off your feet and he doesn't mind that you already have a kid.

When that kid grows up, he looks less and less like he's yours and more and more like his father that he wanted so badly to know as a kid (once he wouldn't stop pestering you about who he was- to get him off your back you said he was dead and handed your kid the photo the bastard left you. It was signed and everything, but of course no phone number to speak of). He's growing up, and he has a personality now. He can take care of himself. He's not a burden to you anymore.

You wouldn't mind getting to know him now that he's him and not your baby, but there is a chasm between you two that you should've noticed before but never bothered to, and nothing is going to fixed that.

You don't worry when you notice him becoming a name on the streets, because why would he have anything against you?

Been super busy so here’s an art dump

In my eyes, when not in a active environment/in danger or in any situation where nothing major is happening like that, I feel like Giorno would have a tendency to daydream while either sitting down or standing up

He hates when that happens because he gets so lost in his own daydreams that when he comes to, a lot of time has passed which makes Giorno upset as he could’ve been productive during that time

So cause of this, whenever Giorno’s friends spot him zoning out too much, they ground him back to reality which is something he appreciates a lot (you can decide on what these daydreams are even about)
