Imagine your f/o’s reaction to you falling asleep in your arms for the first time. It’d be rude of them to move and wake you up, but… No! There would be no reason for them to wake you up. They think you look like an angel while you’re asleep and they don’t want to disrupt you. They keep a watchful eye over you and hug you as a way to protect you from any nightmares. You deserve the nap. Eventually, your f/o ends up falling asleep too. They continue to hold you in their arms even while asleep.
