I get that ‘animated character with a standard model outfit has a whole closet full of that same outfit over and over’ is a standard gag, I get that. But that does not even come close to adequately explaining why Steven has like 200 t-shirts. You have a washing machine, lil buddy. Do you only do laundry twice a year? If so, why bother having a washing machine? And the gems just think it’s normal either way; their clothes are like welded to their bodies or whatever, the poor things have no frame of reference.
